I can't believe they're not including all DLC for ME1 and ME2... incredibly money hungry.
Wouldn't most people who have the games had already paid for and installed the DLCs and thus have no need for them?(same game, means same game data, no new install needed.)
This a combo pack of all three games, never claimed to be a Game + DLC bundle deal.
I imagine that Bringing Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station might not even be on the PS3 version, but I don't mind buying them.
Cerberus Network, Zaeed, Kasumi, Overlord, Firewalker, and Lair of the Shadow Broker will obviously be included for PS3 ME2 because they came included in the PS3 version already. And I already have Arrival and the weapon/appearance packs already bought and installed.
Mass Effect 3 will be bare. Not unexpected, cause the game is still new, DLCs are still selling. Giving From Ashes, Firefight Pack, and Leviathan free this soon wouldn't be a wise business decision.

If you own the whole trilogy, clearly this pack isn't for you - unless you're a completist. If you don't own the whole trilogy, this might be for you.
And folks talking about what 'we' want like you're talking for everyone, why? Speak for yourself, if it echoes current sentiments, great. But what any of us say won't be speaking for the whole fandom or game playing public.

I'm a PS3 owner. I have ME3 for PC, ME2 for PC and PS3, and ME1 for PC.
I want a complete ME PS3 experience - the fact that ME1 and ME2 in this trilogy edition aren't complete is just wrong. I'm fine with re-buying all DLC for PS3 for ME3, but the other two in my opinion are inexcusable.

Yeah, I kinda agree. Then again, this kinda supports my opinion that such a box should a) be released at a later time and

Who said Bioware is trying to force those people to re-buy? ME1 is also being released on PSN for $15 as another option. The Trilogy pack is for collectors and new players. And existing players who just want it because the case is nicer can trade their existing copies for over $20 off in gamestop.
People are making an evil conspiracy out of something EVERY publishing company does.(Look how many different box sets of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Dragon Ball Z there are)
Putting ME1 on PS3 is righting a grievous wrong. We should have had ME1 from the beginning.

I can fully understand that they want to sell this box to new players, who, if all goes according to plan, then purchase DLC worth 50-75% of what they paid for the box. That's not an evil conspiracy, that's business. I understand, and I also think it's neither cool nor wise atm, especially with the story relevant ME2 DLC. I will not recommend buying this box to any of my friends who still show slight interest in the ME trilogy after the ME3 controversy.
ME1 for PS3 is by far the best ME related thing that happened this year.

Alternatively, buy each game individually for significantly less in total.Chris Priestly wrote...

Will the original Mass Effect be available as a standalone game on PlayStation 3?
- YES the original Mass Effect will be available as a standalone digital title through the PlayStation Network for $14.99. It will release the same day as the Mass Effect Trilogy on PlayStation 3.

So for PS3 versions of the Trilogy:
ME1- getting the original game
-possibly both DLCs for the title
ME2- Original game and all the DLC but Arrival
ME3- Original game like 360 and PC
So just remember how they were Originally packaged and that is how the Trilogy pack will be for their opposing systems. 360 version is getting all 3 games with no dlc added. PC is getting ME1 with Bring it Down the Sky and ME2 & ME3 with no DLC.
But Overall I think Wii U deserves a Trilogy pack, that system is going to need more than Zelda and Mario to people on it, Not to mention I feel Wii U is now getting the short end of the stick in the ME.

Hopefully ME1 will be available in disc format for the PS3. Although I'll definitely download it if that's the only way to get it...
Only way to get ME1 on a disk on PS3 is to buy this pack, which is incredibly disappointing, but hey, at least we're finally getting it!
I already have all the DLC for ME2 on PS3, so I'm good there, but ME1 has to have BDTS. Pinnacle Station would be nice, but it's non-essential as far as I'm concerned.
I wonder who is handling the PS3 port...?

Well... this is not something people wanna buy, because without all the additional DLCs of ME2 and ME3 people probably already own 90% of what you're selling, so you don't give them any incentive to buy this package.
I personally don't want to buy a trilogy that's missing 30% of it's content considering that I already have what's bundled inside it.
The fair route would be the ME Ultimate edition and keep this trilogy thing only for the PS3.

Huzzah first post! Anywho, this trilogy pack looks awesome, but I agree with most of the other people in this forum.
-The trilogy should be sold complete or not at all.
-It should be postponed until after all the DLC has come out for Mass Effect 3.
-All DLC should be included for all three games on one DLC disc.
-All cutscenes should feature the weapons I have equipped.
Mass Effect 1
-Bug fixes for quests.
-Better inventory management.
-All DLC.
-Change building layout for unknown planet missions, just put a different skin on them or something... (I shouldn't be going to the same 2 prefab buildings on every planet.)
-Texture load times.
Mass Effect 2
-Bug fixes.
-All DLC.
Mass Effect 3
-Bug fixes...
-All DLC that has been released and has yet to be released.
Just make it come out next year for $80 usd and I might even buy two copies!

Btw - it appears the interviewed person himself left BioWare not on the best of terms, so has every reason to spill dirt. Ray Muzyka had this to say: "Good websites demand clarity and credibility – lesser ones enable ill-informed individuals to make stuff up about other people."

on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which
features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus
Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site
mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting
players access to co-op multiplayer.>>>
Wait, mass effect 2 dlc included only Cerberus Network? and ME3 only the pass???? is a joke?? so after buying the triology i bust also buy Kasumi the stolen memory, Overlord, Liar of the shadow Broker, Arrival, From Ashes and Leviathan??? are we serious? it should be a complete edition!!
ok maybe im ok for rebuying ME3 dlcs (ashes and leviathan)..... but not me2 dlcs
