As a PS3 user myself, I got to tell you that I am very happy that BioWare managed to find a way to make ME1 playable for the PS3!

Au revoir Mass Effect: Genesis Interactive Comic!

The main games are more important than DLC, homie.

Yay! I occasionaly visit the website in the hope some ground-breaking news happens (Comfirmation or denial of ME4/Something big comes up for ME3 DLC). However, I am realy, realy excited for ME1 coming for PS3. Until now, I've only played the last 2 games in trilogy:)

If you had included all the me2 dlc, you might have got more sales.
As is, i don't think many people will care.
Especially when the bulk of those awards are all ME2.

I don't want anything less then complete. So if any DLC missing I'm not going to wast my money.

apparently this is what the trilogy packs contain
www.gamingexaminer.com/ea-details-multiplayer-compatibility-and-dlc-extras-with-mass-effect-trilogy/18283/

I think its BS that most of the dlc is missing. EA just lost $60

Typical, i wash my hands of this series and you pull me back bioware! -insert godfarther reffrance here- 3 games for $60....damnit....you win....this time bioware!! *shakes fist at bioware*

As for the DLC, i already own the me2 stuff, so whatever, primarily i don't want to waste 2GB on the botched ending dlc fix, tell me that's included and the collecters edition rip off dlc and we cool bioware

I would buy it, but only with ALL DLCs for ALL 3 games and I think Iam not alone. You should offer complete Mass Effect experience. In this case I will have to wait and hope that you will maybe one day release something more... complete.

and that would make sense if every last one of you didn't already own every last piece of DLC like proper mouth breathers

This whole thing just seems like an excuse to make up a complaint to **** about in that patented bioware fanbase sorta way. Remember when there were legitiment "i gave you $60 for a crappy series ending / a 40+ hour rpg with 7 dungeons recycled threwout the game?!?!" There's consumer complaints & then there's this nonsense

Learn the differance

That's an ultimate overkill.
Oh, wait, more resembling this. Image IPB

To offer "complete" ME experience, they should include all their scribbles... Sorry, I mean "books", because, apparently, significant part of plot holes and "who the hell are those" "explanations" contained there. Unless they want to offer digital forms of those books included in "trilogy".

Its a nice box, could be a good way to gift someone the ME series, but thats about it. Then again you need to be bit of an **** to gift someone the trilogy while knowing they have to pay another $60+ to be able to enjoy the whole story of the series...
The PS3 version may suck slightly less thanks to the extra ME2 DLCs and having ME1 disc based, but even then its not a particularly good deal.

We would just have to wait and see what it is Bioware will actually give us, I hope at least in addition to what Chris said would be in the Mass Effect Trilogy pack there would be serious graphical improvements that I dont need patches to fix, without that its very likely I WILL NOT BUY the Trilogy Pack,
keep talking about this, its the only way Bioware will give us what we want.

Your talking to the company/publisher that has never done a true DLC sale and still has them at full price, even though the games are the same price if not cheaper due to sales.

Were I a cynical man (and it just so happens I am on Tuesdays), I would hypothesize that November 6 not only marks the release of the MET, but also the Omega DLC... And Mass Effect 3 would be the first title ever (that I know of) to pull Day One DLC twice with the same game.

If this were so, I'd actually be impressed.

It's a shame that the dlcs are not completely included in the trilogy. Of course the main games are most important but the dlcs are adding story content that is essential for a complete Mass Effect experience. And exactly these important dlcs are missing. So you have to pay again...

I really liked Bioware and i have played all major Bioware titles since Baldurs Gate. But now i only see the EA commercialization politics in each bit. The dlcs are overpriced and are cut out of the normal game (e.g. From Ashes,...). It could have been such a great opportunity: the complete Mass Effect in one box with all games and dlcs. What a pitty. I already see the same fate for Bioware as it happened to Origin in the 90s.

Meh, it's cheaper to buy all 3 games separately.

Hey fawx i just thought of something, EA are the guys that have the real say as to what goes in the trilogy pack and at what price, ooooooohhhhhhh F*#K!, sigh well when the trilogy pack is released and it dont have what we want most of us judging by this thread alone wont buy the trilogy pack,
it would be interesting to see the sales data once the release date comes.

Well, of course we won't buy it. Anyone who hangs out on this board is already a Mass Effect fan. Except for the PS3 guys, why wouldn't we have already bought all three games?

The trilogy isn't for us. It's for the people who haven't played ME yet. Well, and maybe for folks who want to switch platforms for some reason.

This triology pack will be for 60$, so about 45 €. yea its a low cost for 3 games. :police:

However bioware and ea should do also also a "special/complete edition" of this triology pack wich will contain  (as said before by someone):

Mass Effect with Bring Down The Sky and Pinnacle Station
Mass Effect 2 with Cerberus Network Pass, Zaeed - The Price Of Revenge, Kasumi - Stolen Memory, Lair Of The Shadow Broker, Overlord, Firewalker Pack, Arrival, Mass Effect: Genesis, N7 Complete Arsenal Bundle, Arc Projector, Blood Dragon Armour
Mass Effect 3 with Online Pass, From Ashes, Leviathan, Extended Cut, Firefight Pack, N7 Warfare Gear, N7 Collector's Edition Pack, Chakram Launcher, Reckoner Knight Armour, Collector Rifle Pack (Multiplayer), Battlefield 3 Pack (Multiplayer), Resurgence Pack (Multiplayer), Rebellion Pack (Multiplayer) and Earth (Multiplayer) and a code to download the next upcoming DLC (Take back Omega or what else will be)
All included in the discs, nothing to download. :bandit:

And: a CD or DVD with all the musical tracks of all 3 games and dlcs and An artbook  of all the 3 games and dlcs.

Obviously the price should increase, maybe from 60 $ (45 €) to 100 $ (80 €) or if they want seriously more money and make us unhappy 130 $ (100€)

And all this for all consoles and platforms (PC, MAC, PS3, XBOX360, Wii U)

But if someone alrerady has the games and dlcs, should have a discount, maybe of the 50% of the already goods held.  :wizard:
