The only cool thing is that ME1 will be on PS3, in all it's glitchy glory, and I can imagiine the PS3 version having twice as many bugs.

 O..M..G!!!! :o

My day has just been made! ME1 is reason enough for me to start my playthroughs again! But questions:

Will all the dlc be included in it?
Will importing ME1 to ME2 to ME3 work for PS3? Because PS3 didnt have ME1 before so yeah...
How much will ME1 cost from PSN?
And how the hell was this possible if ME1 was published by Microsoft??

Finally getting ME1 for PS3. Will the game include both DLCs too?

You know, I feel like they paid Microsoft a bunch of dollars in order to release the first game on PS3, which now makes the interactive comic pointless.
Couldn't they just do that before? Or were they planning this pack? Adding ME1 surely sweetens the deal for PS3 users. But also makes the ME3 version for Wii U rather pointless, unless they're planning to release the trilogy on Nintendo's console as well.
Meh. Useless pack, if you ask me. Just for completionists and newcomers who somehow hesitated to buy the games years ago.

I like the price but does this include DLC?
I'd think the price would be higher if it did include DLC.

It looks like this doesn't include the DLC, looking at the FAQ on masseffect.com:

What does the Mass Effect Trilogy include?

Mass Effect Trilogy includes all three Mass Effect titles, featured in a new premium foil box featuring artwork of Commander Shepard.

Me thinks me buy this...maybe...depends if all the pre-order items will be included later on, and DLC and if there is new patching involved.

Edit: Btw, Chris will this mean the end of ME3 DLC when November comes?

oh wow, you can already purchase it?

I wonder how improved the graphics for ME1 are with blu-ray....

I know that for ME3, the graphics are better on the PS3, smoother.  I have Xbox and PS3 versions and they look better, but the framerates really drop at times and can cause really odd things to happen - I think Bioware suffers from some of the same things Bethesda games has, they don't handle the graphic memory (on separate chip) very well.  In places, the game bogs down due to memory issues, so I've had full maps just not render-in one case the shuttle was flying with no background whatsoever and in other cases, people are talking but are not visible.  You can see the game slow down too.  But on the xbox rendered shading has visible edges whereas on the PS3 they blend seamlessly.

That's great news :) I'm a hardcore XBOX 360 fan, but everybody deserves to experience the entire trilogy! I imagine the PS3 version of ME1 will come with bug fixes, but I'm pretty sure the XBOX and PC versions will be the same. To be honest the disks (excluding ME1 for PS3) are probably the same as their single edition versions, just with a different skin. For example, an XBOX 360 owner playing the trilogy edition of ME2 will probably load the game with their saves and DLC just as they would the single version.

Looking at the price, DLC included? Doubtful!

I highly doubt DLC will be included with this, for they haven't used it as a selling feature and the picture they are showing only has five disks for all three games and I think it would require at least one additional disk for Mass Effect 2 DLC for the PC version that is an additional six gigabytes of game data and if I remember correctly Mass Effect 3 with the four multiplayer DLC and three story DLC it would be about the same size.

I'm wondering if they are planning to release ME1 for PS3 as a separate title from the "trilogy pack". Because making PS3 users to buy two games they already have in order to access the first one is a dick move in my opinion.

Edit.
But looking at the price, it's not that bad.
Probably it won't include the DLC, though.

Will it include all the DLC available?
Is the original Mass Effect somehow enhanced for modern hardware?

Pretty sure has been asked already, but hey...

Is ME1 for PS3 included?

Are DLCs included? If so, are they on disc (great!), or just download codes (lame!)?

Will this include Omega DLC? does it mean is the final DLC for ME3? It seems pretty pointless to buy this "ultimate pack" if DLC keeps getting released at a later date.

Oh, and maybe this is a bit silly but... any plans for WiiU release?

59.99 for three games. Yet, I bought ME3 alone for the same price back in March.

Just further reiterates the fact that I never will buy a brand new game and pay full price ever again. And I haven't since.

****ing commies.

ME1 is available as a separate download for the PSN or as part of the trilogy pack for PS3.

"The original Mass Effect will also be available as a digital
stand-alone title on the Playstation Network at the same time the Mass
Effect Trilogy is released."

You can either get ME1 by buying the Trilogy set or just buy it alone on the PSN.

It will be released as a downloadable game.

The thing is here the PS3 version is to be released at some later date.  But the xbox and PC versions on November 7th.  If you want it you likely already have it, or for PS3 owners you have to wait for maybe one game.

SO basically you can buy a downloaded copy on November 9 when the Trilogy releases to PC and Xbox, or just wait till sometime this year (all of like...November and December)  and buy the full trilogy?

At least I can ME1 for download now. Now I can have the complete collection on both PS3 & PC :D

unfortunately, wont buy box set until ME4 is released :/

This reminds me of when they would release box sets of Harry Potter before the last movies were out.
