I just wonder what Bioware could do for the next game, hopefully it should be good .

bioware, i love you, but this is just a cheap, lazy cash grab that reeks of an EA board room.  i can just picture the meeting of EA executives when one of them realized they don't have a new mass effect game coming out next year and someone shouted out, "let's just repackage all of the old copies we have sitting in that warehouse in NJ and sell it as a trilogy!"  that guy probably got a 100k bonus. 

i LOVE the mass effect games and would gladly plunk down my $60 for this if there was even one iota of added value from purchasing it (aside from a pretty box to store the three games i already own in), but there is not.  all of the DLC isn't even included and the stuff that is will just be in the form of download codes, which makes this nothing more than a shiny repackaging of 3 discs most of us here already own.  granted, yes, PS3 owners are getting ME1, but that is also being sold separately.  and i'm sure there are gamers out there who have never played any of the ME games, who will buy this collection.  i just wish the rest of us had a reason to buy it.  i'm not expecting fundamental gameplay or narrative changes or anything, but geez, could we have maybe gotten some new armor or costumes?  maybe a new exclusive piece of DLC?  1080p versions for the 360?  directory commentary??  anything new at all to justify re-buying these?  no... because that would cost EA money, and this trilogy as is will just be pure profit.  

yes, i know everyone has already gotten this out of their system weeks ago... sorry for continuing to beat that horse, but i just joined the forum and felt the need to vent my frustration too.

I'm not wishing to read a 50 page thread, so would anyone be kind enough to answer these questions, or if the answer is unknown state as much please.

All related to PS3.

1. What DLC will be included for each game

2. Will ME2 be patched to accept/import a ME1 save, or is ME1 being treated as a unlinked game and we're stuck with that crappy comic book sequence for ME2.

Guess nothing can stay exclusive to the 360 anymore. Now Sony has to give up one of their exclusives. Otherwise, I won't buy another ME game..Sad that EA won't let an exclusive stay exclusive.

Edit---This will be my last purchase of a Bioware game until they get out from underneath EA's slimey claws.

yes, do a PC exclusive game... not one of those "dumbed down for the console crowd" ones...

P.S. if you can't tell, I am being sarcastic... I happen to like diversity, even though I would prefer if games were not just ported to other systems, but actually optimised... imagine a Mass Effect game that actually uses all of the resources a modern gaming PC has to offer... (one can dream...)

If this is not a joke post, then complain to Microsoft that they sold ME1 rights to EA. EA surely didn't put a gun to Microsoft's head and forced it to do it.

I just have to say I'm really, really excited about the idea of Mass Effect 1 coming to the PS3 - whenever it happens, I'll be looking forward to it, so I can play the entire trilogy through from beginning to end. I was considering buying it for the PC when this announcement occurred, so I am very excited to play it on my console. If the rumors of next February are true, that's my birthday and I can't imagine many better birthday gifts than that! Thank you, Bioware, for making this happen! This is going to be really awesome!!

the dlc is clearly not included it says no dlc for xbox version of mass effect 1 and only ceberus for 2 and just the online pass for 3 for multiplayer and thats for both xbox and pc my guess is that the ps3 version might include the dlc for mass effect one

Or people who happen to like ME3 (despite the endings) and have it on PS3 can have a chance to play ME1 themselves, that said this isn't the place to talk about the endings

I feel sorry for people who have such low standards for this great game that they actually enjoyed the third game after that ending
