It's possible. Australian retailers have been listing December 6 as the release date in Oz: www.onlysp.com/2012/10/16/mass-effect-trilogy-hitting-ps3-in-december/ December 4 (Tuesday) would fit North America (American Amazon) in such case.eaglefan129 wrote...

Writing an abysmally-boring blog post for the BioWare site about Mass Effect Trilogy. Uggggggh. Time to change this up. #Ineedpie
Thoughts?

Hmmmm, wonder why its so boring....
But hopefully its news on the PS3 release!
Edit: From the replies, it appears as though its just a " wandering journey through nostalgia." and its not about the PS3 release... "no news so far. That is both
BTW whats the past tense of a tweet? Is it a "t-w-a-t"?

So you could have included ME2 without much trouble, but you didn't. You're overcharging them for what they're getting. And you're making the release of ME3 a "test run" of ME's viability on a Nintendo platform? In other words, if ME3 does well, you'll release ME Trilogy on the WiiU. Great, instant buyer's remorse is a great way to endear yourself to fans!
And no, ME3 won't be successful on the WiiU. Of course it won't. Firslty, it's a year-old game. Then it's only the very end of the series, so you won't be able to actually play through the backstory or feel any connection with the decisions you make. Plus, anyone who was interested in ME has already purchased the series on one of the three platforms it is available on. PLUS you can't bait-and-switch WiiU owners with a varied ending where your decisions matter, because everyone already knows about the ending (improved with the DLC, but improved from an F to a C-).
Pretty cute strategy. "Well, we'll give them crap without really trying since we can't bait-and-switch them. But if they like it, we'll rip them off."
On the other side of things, will the ME1 PC DLC actually be made available for existing PC owners again? You know, because currently it's nearly impossible to get that DLC for the version of the game you purchased (you have to online chat with EA customer support and refuse every single push to have them give it to you on Origin, unless you're fine with Origin. BTW This takes hours, because the EA customer service representatives are NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE YOU NON-ORIGIN SUPPORT and have to get supervisor after supervisor to have something like this approved, and not one of them wants to go up the chain.).
Also, where's my apartment? :-/

I'd be more than happy to buy this series on PS3 despite having it on PC, but I don't have the $100+ to buy the trilogy and all the DLC.
The PS3 version new comes with most of the DLC ME2 alone, they arent going to release the PS3 version without the DLC it original came out with when first released. The trouble question is will PS3 get the DLC for ME1 or will it be up on store to purchase, considering how ME1 was when i last played it DLC wasnt that important like it is for ME2 and ME3.

The PS3 version will probably have the best trilogy edition considering it comes with almost all of the DLC for the first 2 games.

Can anyone tell me when ME1 on the PSN will be coming out for Europe? I know it's after the 6th Nov release date for everyone else but I cant remember when.
You can't remember because BioWare never announced a ship date. The ME trilogy producer Ryan Warden said he hopes to get it out before Christmas, worst case in February. It has been approved by SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) but not yet by SCEE (...Europe). How I would love to play it over the holidays... come on, you can do it!

I'm also talking about the PSN version. The ME3 trilogy producer is the same person who heads the ME1 port for PS3. I did not state that in my previous reply, that's perhaps why you thought I was talking about the trilogy, sorry.
But the info is still the same: there is no official release date, neither for the PS3 trilogy nor for the PSN release of ME1. It would be possible to release ME1 on PSN earlier than the trilogy, as they don't have to produce all the discs, but I won't hold my breath for that.
But I WILL be able to give you a partial answer: it will be out on PSN in Europe one day after it's out in the US:whistle:

well that's not gonna happen because me1 standalone is coming the same day as the MET trilogy set (which right now stands for dec 4th on amazon)
