@HouseOfCrows: That is a strange issue. I have "from ashes" but i never had such problems during the ending.

I'm most worried about the framerate. Lets be honest; the framerate on ME3 PS3 is terrible compared to the Xbox version.
I can't see how ME1's framerate would be worse than ME2's.
Dude you must be talking about Mass Effect 3 I had very little to none framerate problems with Mass Effect 2
This is why I worry. ME2 ran nearly flawless on PS3. ME3? Not so much.
Why, how bad is the framerate??
Whoa, folks, I think it's a little unfair to trash the PS3 version of ME3. Yes it had some framerate issues, but you guys are acting like the game was just completely unplayable. Buy no means is this the case. Yeah, I'd like to see a patch to fix some of the issues, but it's still an enjoyable experience on the PS3 none the less. I am excited for the ME Trilogy on PS3 and for some odd reason this thread is turning into a let's bash the PS3 version. If they fix the small issues, awesome, though I doubt that's their main focus right now. Stop being party poopers.
Never said it was unplayable just said the framerate was bad and the fact that my game freezes ever 2 to 6 hours making me do a hard reset that and the framerate issuese are very annoying considering Bioware does know about the framerate issuse since the game came out and haven't fixed it yet

The way you are going on about it and describing your experience is pretty clean cut on it being unlayable. I do believe you personally have had some issues, I cannot doubt that, however, I do own this game on the PS3 and have not had the same experiences. I've beaten the game 3 times and have all of the DLC for it. There are some dips here and there, but no freezes and anything that would warrant a not purchase. I can't speak for everyone.

A waste of money in your experience. Don't dumb it down for others.
FYI. Mass Effect was originally published by Microsoft...Amirite??? EA bought the rights to Publish it afterwards... Correct me if I'm wrong?
EA published the PC version, MS did the 360 version.
EA / Bioware own the IP and can publish it on any platform they choose.

If you buy ME1 on the PSN, there'll be an update for ME2 which will allow you to import the save from 1. So no you won't have to buy the two other games.MASSEFFECTfanforlife101 wrote...
If I just buy the standalone digital copy of ME1 and not the rest of the Trilogy Set, will I be about to Import ME1 to the "regular" retail copy of ME2 on the PS3 (The same with ME2 importing to ME3), or will I have to buy the rest of the trilogy set? Sorry for th dumb question, but I don't know anything about ME2 and ME3 for the PS3? I don't remember seeing an "Import ME1 Character" in the ME2 Menu for PS3.
Again....sorry for the dumb question.

Small decisions like Conrad Verner were not part of the 'big 4' decisions of ME1 and likely were left out in the 15 minute interactive comic.
Will it require the trilogy edition to be able to import my custom shepard from the new ME1 for PS3 into ME2?

Maybe I missed this somewhere in this thread, but since the original ME2 for PS3 couldn't import an ME1 save (because until now there wasnt one), how will buying the stand alone version of ME1 integrate with ME2 now?

The content is supposedly on the original game. It just wasn't enabled.

Ryan Warden confirmed there's an ME2 update coming to allow importing an ME1 save.

I don't' care what anyone says about me and what I say, so you can all drop it now, and I will not comment further. I came here to say what I wanted to say and that is it.

Well the Mass Effect series is finally ruined for me. The horrid PS3 should not have had this great game series and now the first game is ruined for me. ME should have stayed on the 360 where it belonged. The PC was a good port, but the PS3, that can go and rot for all I care. The PS3 is a horrible console and ME is forever tainted by it,
