Well here in Sweden i guess it will be much cheaper. And that is not official yet. It can change.

what is that ? If they release 1 universe complete universe with 3 story chapters its ok.

in 1 complete universe you could visit all places that took place in all episodes no matter in which episode you are in in this trilogy you should have 1 engine 1 score starting from Eden Pime to level 90 1complete set of skills.
But it looks like they do just market businesses selling 2 good games ME1 and ME2 with poor ME3 as a bundle and still u have to buy crucial to story DLCs separately

The DLC for SP AC was junk anyways. (At least I felt it was). How many box sets does this series need anyways? The Ezio trilogy, anthology, and I guarantee there'll be one after 4 unless 4 is the last game, which then there's just be a "complete edition."

Edit: Anyone who has the boxset - does it have the same problem as the CE of 3? (the whole trouble about getting the discs out w/o snapping them?) and what does the back of the box look like?

They send me a email said The product you pre-ordered is now available. Download and play it today. But when i go origin, my game it said not yet released and store said it available is their any one else have that problem.

The Uncharted Trilogy on the PS3 did it right. All three games included as well as all DLC. (Take note Bioware/EA).

Well, it's a bummer but I've just found out that the Assassin's Creed Anthology is EMEA-restricted, meaning it will only be sold in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, at least for now.

Not to mention the price - 120 pounds/150 euro. Ridiculous. By the time it will be released, you will be able to get all 5 games with all DLC for far less (just buy AC2 GOTY, ACB Da Vinci & ACR Ottoman editions and you already have four games with all DLC)

Yes. AC2 GOTY edition, ACB Da Vinci, ACR Ottoman. These editions have all DLC. The only thing I'm not sure of is whether ACR Ottoman Edition has AC1 bundled on 360. I know it does on PS3, but PS3 has Blu-Ray disc so there was some free space left.

Since I own all three games already, I don't really see the point in buying the Trilogy, even now that it seems possible to mod the end to ME3.

-Are there any changes in powers, to make them more similar over the course of the three games? Or is everything still as it was when the games were originally released?
-Will the Trilogy be released on Steam, so I will be able to abandon Origin, a platform which keeps me from seeing my friends, keeps them from joining me or eachother, randomly disconnects and causes all sorts of other mayhem?

If none of the above, then what possible reason is there for someone who owns all three games to buy the Trilogy? Is there any advantage at all or would I be throwing my money away?

The answer to all your questions is no. The game is exactly the same as it was at release. As for mods, I don't know, I'm a console gamer. This box set isn't for you, they've made it clear its for people "who are looking to get into the games."

Thank you for taking the time to answer that question! I didn't feel like wading through over 50 pages and see if there was anything there and couldn't find any other posts from Bioware in this thread.

Also, what a missed opportunity..

Personally for myself it's a chance to get the dlcs for ME 1 without having to go through that univseral code issue with calling up EA tech support every time I want to install the dlcs (plus having the vista/7 support is always a nice touch)
