Hi Chris:
I had one question about the trilogy set. I have ME1, ME 2 collector ed., and ME 3 collector's ed. Will the dlcs I've already bought prior to buying the trilogy and the special collector's options that came with the original games I have registered now also be usable with the trilogy?
I did buy the trilogy by the way just want to be sure I'm not missing out on anything with the differences between collector's edition and the trilogy

Yes, they will all work. =)
In case anyone was wondering and shared some of the same thoughts I had
EDIT - copy and paste doubled what I was trying to paste

I'd been wondering about that as well, so thanks for the heads up!
No problem. If it wasn't for the ME 1 dlcs being on disc, I might have done what some people are doing which is not buying it. Though now that I did buy it, I'm happy I can keep all my dlcs and not have to rebuy them plus keep all my collector ed unlocks, that would have been harsh.
BTW I did a poll on the trilogy and if people will/won't buy it. Feel free to vote. The ones I've got voting are saying no but that's just them though.

Well now we just gotta count down to the PS3 release. Which is coming Dec 4th.
To be honest, if they ever decide to do a Wii U release of the trilogy, I might just go off and buy that too. I like how they're doing the controller setup. The only thing I'll miss will be having a mouse for easy point and shoot. Though...if they decide to use the whole sensor bar wiht the pad and/or combo the pad with the wiimote/nunchuk, then it just make my day

Cheers for that. They should all work assuming you're using the same Bioware login or EA Origin account as all the DLC are attached to that accound rather than to a specific game. The only positive I can find for Origin

This might be incredibly ignorant, but was it ever revealed what the special plan for female shepard was going to be since she isn't in the box art or has that yet to come? I only ask because the trilogy edition is out now.

Okay I'm confused. What is the difference between this and owning all three games already?
Nothing. This box set is not for people who own the games. Its for people looking to get into them.

With regards to the physical copy of the Mass Effect Trilogy. Do all three games now require Origin for installation or is it just ME3 like the standalone versions?

Can anyone confirm weather or not people who buy the trilogy set will still need that ridiculous code for BDTS or will it just in stall off the disk without issue

Good question. My guess is that both Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station will run off the disc and won't require a specific key (in the case of Bring Down the Sky). There is a license key included with the set that downloads the Extended Cut for ME3 which I thought was a nice touch from BioWare.
