it begs the question; you already have all three games, but you bought the TRILOGY? Unless all of your discs are damaged, why buy them again?

In my case, I had ME and ME 2 as digital dowloads and ME 3 on DVD and have always preferred discs to digital downloads.

In fact, my collection of games (primarily RPGs) go all the way back to the original Pool of Radiance games from SSI on 5.25" and 3.5" floppy disks from the 1980's, and I still have the hardware to play them on. I also have two copies each of the Baldur's Gate and NWN series of games from BioWare.

The Pool of Radiance series I had three copies of, but sold the Commodore 64 versions I had along with the C64 and C-128 computers I had back in the late 80's when I moved up to AT class computers.

If I enjoy a game series enough, I have no qualms about buying multiple copies

Good to see someone else who enjoys buying games on disc; I was beginning to feel all alone here.

You are not alone :) I got the trilogy on disc also, cost me a bit more that digital, and a looot more than some discounts for seperate digital downloads through third parties. However I am greatly dissapointed, that if I took these discs to some uninterneted (pun on uninhabited) island, I would not be able to play it without first activating it. One can think of some scenarios where this would be really not OK :)

Is there a possibility that mass effect trilogy with all the DLC's will be released?

Looking from a business point of view - once the DLC market becomes stale and after the last ME3 dlc. They now sold a bunch of trilogies with just what originally came with them. A lot of those buyers then went and got a lot of DLC's. I would guess that is the main goal (from a business management side) of their trilogy campaign. Trilogy goes for 40, DLC's - ~100.

A plausible guess - 5 year anniversary of N7 day, or around Mass Effect 4 release as part of combined marketing (ME trilogy glory up's the ME4 release, and ME4 hype upping ME full trilogy).

Disclaimer: I am guessing from my point of view and some knowledge about how marketing is usually planned. Just my two cents.

Yeah, that's very likely. Or around/before the ME Movie comes out (if ever lol). There's also the possibility of releasing the Trilogy for PS4/720 and since EA would have to go through certification again anyway, this may be the moment to include DLC on-disc.

PS3 version of the Trilogy is the best for DLC anyway. You only need to get Arrival, From Ashes, Levi & Omega. Bring Down The Sky, Kasumi, Overlord & LOTSB are already on disc so it's much better deal than 360 trilogy

Since we're talking about EA, and if Bioware finishes releasing DLC for ME3 early this year, it wouldn't surprise me if we were looking at another Trilogy Collector's Edition by year's end (with all DLC).

BTW, I keep hearing about that DLC's are going to end soon - are those guesses based on ME2 and the fact that current ME3 dlc's is all hands on deck, or is there some stronger evidence that this is the last year for ME3 dlc?

I don't have any evidence that this is the last year for ME3 DLC, but it's my educated guess that it is and that there's probably one, maybe two, SP DLC left for release. I'm guessing it depends partly on DLC sales and partly on reception of said DLC.

Not sure what you mean, but when registering with origin, there is only one code included with the Trilogy edition, that code activates all three games. Once activated, you log on with the same account to ME2 cerberus network.

Hope this answers your question.

Is my country the only one where this did not come in a "premium" tin case, or with any artwork. Just the game disks in a cardboard foldout. The box does not even seal closed. I already owned all the games, but got this as I am a sucker for collector edition cases. Only to find out after the fact that different regions receive different versions.

Very disappointed in Bioware and EA in not mentioning this detail. False advertising, bordering on lying.

I am in Lithuania, bought from amazon.co.uk (After some time, I gave up on the EA/bioware sites, failing to understand how to buy a disc version there), Got a cardboard foldout in a cardboard sleeve. That was what I saw in the picture before buying and I did not even know there was a collector's trilogy version.

Thank you, Bioware, for the effort in making ME1 for PS3! I missed the Mako :)

I appreciate you using loading screens from ME2 and ME3 (am I right?) to make the experience more immersive with the later two games! I also appreciate more and more the effort you made in making ME2 more solid, and the graphics, effects, action and fighting mechanics in ME3 even more so! (I still hope for more RPG elements in ME4)

anywhere*

I have the Cerb network code, and it worked just fine as I had access to all of the DLC's in ME2. However, when I'm trying to redeem it here, it won't accept it. On the description, I am instructed to enter the UCP code which is nowhere to be found on the game box and the leaflet.

Thanks for the response.

Any chance it says UPC (not UCP) code? That could mean the barcode on the box.

Anyone know if a second PS3 shipment of this will be coming to the UK? Amazon STILL don't have it back in stock.

PS3 is the only system I don't have a physical copy of ME1 on... I want it dammit :l

Check the box/leaflets/discs/packaging for barcode just for ME2

Okay, am I losing my mind or did some stuff not get ported over?

Specifically, I mean when Liara reads Shepard's mind to see what the Prothean beacon on Eden Prime put there. Doesn't that happen either shortly after recruiting her or right after Feros (when you receive the Cipher)?

I seem to distinctly recall this when I played through on my laptop, but it didn't show up in my disc PS3 copy. I am in the middle of doing Noveria right now, with nothing left to do afterwards except Bring Down the Sky and Virmire and beyond. All random planet sidequests are done and such.

I do remember after completing Feros, my Shepard loaded into the conference room. I expected the Liara mind-reading scene to occur there with your crew all seated in those chairs... but, instead, Shepard just loaded into an empty comm room.

Has my years of drinking alcohol really destroyed my brain this badly or is something missing? Image IPB

Is there even the slightest chance there will be a patch for the boss fight against Saren for ME1 disc of trilogy. It freezes every single time I try and play it.

Really wanted to have a personal canon play through for the Citadel DLC and this is becoming very frustrating.

Now that we have the final dlc, the Wii U should get a trilogy set including all the dlc and the special tablet features
