Question!
Will ME1 be re-optimized for the 360 and updated for all platforms? This screenshot gives me the impression that it is:
Not likely. Just did an image search for Mass Effect Saren and that was one of the first pics. Led me to an article from 2007 so it's an old pic.
The big questions are will it have the DLC and why no Wii U version? Eh, doesn't matter to me, I'm not buying it. Already have all 3 games on 360 anyway.

Six months after release it'll be found dirt cheap on the bargain bin, happens to all collections so i'll wait. I already own all three games on PC anyway, hopefully it'll include all DLC on the disc.
This.

I'm really glad to hear that I’ll finally have the chance to play ME on my PS3, since it's been years since I originally played it.
However there are a couple of things I was wondering about.
First is Mass Effect only going to be available as a standalone game through the PSN store, or will we be able to buy it as a standalone physical copy in the same way as ME2 & ME3?
I don't mind having to buy a digital copy of it, but I would rather have a physical copy and I don't really want to buy the collection since I already own 2&3
Apologies to everyone if this has already been answered, but I only read the first post. But do we know if the dlc for the original will be included and whether or not ME2&3 will be patched to include the decisions from the original.
Thanks to anyone in advance if they can answer either of these questions.

Thats the real deal people. Since a Dual Layer Blu Ray holds up to 50GBs of storage space its perfectly capable of holding uncompressed lossless audio and maybe even some behind the scenes videos.

Well, the least they could do is re-optimize the 360 version. It runs like ass.

The Picture of the unboxed Trilogy shows two ME2 discs and two ME3 discs, so I think DLC will be in it
That's how they always are on 360, and since 360/PC are releasing first, it stands to reason they're pics of the 360 or PC version.

And I highly doubt it has DLC, they probably would have announced that with the rest of the info if so.
we wont know till they tell us more or we play it ourselves

Such as when does the PS3 copy actually come out.
Will the PS3 version actually play ME?
Will the PS3 version of ME actually work?
Etc. You know, important questions.

I know we won't definitively know, I'm just typing my thoughts on what I feel is most likely.

I would assume ME1 comes with Bring Down the Sky and the other one that nobody liked
but it would be cool if ME2/3 came with the DLCs as well

Very nice for PS3 gamers, now you too can enjoy the best entry in the series. I just hope the saves can be imported from ME1 through M3.Have fun!
But... why no Wii U version?
No Wii U version because the publishers aren't sure how well it's going to sell. Even though the Wii sold fantastically, software did not.

Hell, I might even pick up a PC trilogy set.
But if not, I'll likely skip over this.

It will sell even worse when people realize only part 3 is available on Wii U, when you can get the entire trilogy for the same price on PC/PS3/360. It makes no sense not the release the entire trilogy right away, imho.
Anyway, I'll probably pick this up for 360, although I already have all the games. That box is nice!
