Lol if it doesn't include the DLC.

Well, the vanilla PS3 ME2 had every DLC except lolArrival I think, so there's a chance.

Is this the quickest price reduction of a series ever? I mean 6 months after a game's release. Also, platinum hits wait for 9 months before being released.

It's a good thing for people that want to play the series and haven't gotten it.

This is surprising. Other than Gears, ME1 was really the only other exclusive game draw for Xbox.

I knew at some point it was gonna happen

PS3 people should be excited, particularly if they like RPG over gameplay, because ME1 is still, as far as I am concerned, the best in the series for that.

Is this for you personally or in general?

Oh my, November 7th is "the first N7 day, to celebrate Mass Effect". The first? It's going annual!

Move over, Thanksgiving! GTFO, Valentine's! N7 day is here!

I was on the fence for months on getting an Xbox just for ME1. Glad I didn't pull the trigger now.

I'm still stunned.

Well, considering that the current-gen console cycle is coming to an end, and Mass Effect has become multi-platform, it doesn't really surprise me. Though, that licensing agreement does. Glad that the PS3 folks will finally have the chance to play ME1!

But, yeah, I'll echo the other sentiments: what'll be the situation with DLC, and will the XBOX version come packaged with all the content for Mass Effect 2 that the PS3 edition came with? Moreover, will there be any incentive for those who already have all the games and DLC---or is this just a holiday package for newcomers?

Screw it, that packaging is too good to pass up.

Also, I find the November 7th N7 connection more clever than I probably should. :D

In general. Actually, Gears being the true exclusive, unless some Halo titles aren't available for PC.

This console generation is ending I don't think MS cares anymore about a 5 year old exclusive. I kind of want this even though I have the trilogy already for PC and Xbox. I doesn't look like it has any DLC included but who knows? The PS3 ME2 came with most of the DLC in box didn't it?

Yeah, who would have thought that there would be a box set with all three games at one point. This is so surprising! Wow!

How is that not true for every single entertainment/technology product you've ever bought?

These are all valid and great questions.  Part of me wonders beyond PS3 owners getting ME1, what the benefits of this are.

You can get bundles of ME1 and 2 now for $12 in places, you can buy them used for the xbox.  In fact, you could get all 3 of the games for the xbox and on disk for the PC for less than this.  DLC would make it more appealing.  But, recently Bethesda bundled Oblivion and Fallout 3 together for $20 without DLC.

It's hard to see how this could have DLC with it, unless you get download codes because there are 5 disks-you have 6 just for the games on xbox now.

You can now get all 5 God of Wars in a 40 dollar collection now. So, yeah, this gen cycle is coming to a close.

The fact that they said 75 hours of entertainment might hint that it does not come with DLC...

Even without DLC that seems like selling it short. Maybe their marketing team is being extra careful these days?
