This is surprising. Other than Gears, ME1 was really the only other exclusive game draw for Xbox.

Is this for you personally or in general?

In general. Actually, Gears being the true exclusive, unless some Halo titles aren't available for PC.

All except the first two.

Tempted to say Forza and Fable, but neither of them are particularly good. Xbox can't compete in the exclusives area anymore.

The fact that they said 75 hours of entertainment might hint that it does not come with DLC...

Even without DLC that seems like selling it short. Maybe their marketing team is being extra careful these days?

If you just casaully play trhough the games, ME1 is 8 hours, ME2 1 hours and ME3 around 12 hours too. It all depends on how you play them.

So what they're saying is I could have just waited a five year and saved a crap ton of money. Great.

Yeah, who would have thought that there would be a box set with all three games at one point. This is so surprising! Wow!

ME1 going to PS is surprising

I have to prepare myself for gameplay dropoff, but I don't care. I still want to experience it. Codex Tali and all.

True, but general marketing for games usually advertises completionist times, at least in my experience, because it sounds more impressive. And whether or not players choose to do everything, there is at least 75 hours of content available to you.

Sorry to say but PS3 users are getting screwed. You have to buy the whole trilogy just to get the first game and it's 60 bucks.

Chances are PS3 users have ME2 and ME3 already and ME1 for 360 is only like 20 or 25 dollars last time I look. So you will pay 60 bucks for 2 games you already have and 1 "new" game.

Just seems like BS to me.

It looks like you'll be able to buy ME1 from the PSN Store. No need to re-buy everything.

How is that not true for every single entertainment/technology product you've ever bought?

It is but a game I paid $80 going for essentialy 20 about half a year later is a bit irksome.

Sorry. I didn't see that. All I seen was that the could get ME1 from the Trilogy pack.

Still say I should have waited 5 years and saved all the money lol

This is seriously a bad IDEA..

Most people already have a regular version of ME3, why would I wanna buy this version as well??

Unless you are one of those crazy collector guy, who has to have every shiny thing related to something you love, this one makes no sense for me.. Most people with PC and XBox already have all 3 version, being a trilogy where you can save game transfer and all.

In short, this game has a small market which include the people that I described in previous paragraph, and the people who own a PS3.

Only way I would ever purchase this version is if they improved ME1 and ME2 combat and made it like ME3. I mean, those games are solid 10/10 games, but once you've gotten the taste of ME3 combat, you just can't go back!!!

Also, all DLC for ME1 and ME2, [and maybe the From Ashes and the Leviathan DLC's for ME3 as well...]

How about a non download option for ME1 alone? many people will aleady have 2 and 3 and will be looking just for that.

Also, I imagine that ME 2 and 3 will be patched to allow for saves to transfer over from ME1 onwards, and that all the released ME1 DLC will be installed on disk as standard - a obvious move but something that I'd like to hear confirmed, seeing as Bioware already pissed off many fans with their handing of ME3 (prothean removed from game to be charged as DLC, Broken endings, and PS3 online issues)

I'll wait for the definitive version with all the DLC and get that. For either the PC (I would like to have a physical copy for my favorite game) or PS3.

i have a feeling that there is a little bit of confusion here and ME1 isn't a part of the PS3 Trilogy release...

Really the main question is...Does it include all the dlc and give anything extra?

If not then I don't see the point in them releasing a trilogy pack especially when so many of their fans are angry at them to begin with.

If it has ALL of the DLC, then consider me picking up multiple copies :) Would have been fantastic to see this treatment on the Wii U version too, rather than a port of ME3 alone.

Wait does that mean we get to import ME1 characters into ME2 and ME3 on the PS3 now?

About transferring your ME1 save on PS3: wouldn't that mean BW'd have to insert content like Shiala in ME2 and Conrad Verner in 2 and 3?

Yeah, the only thing would be the PS3 ME1 addition for those who want it, other than that there's no up side.

Probably, though here's hoping the face import bug doesn't make a reappearance.
