If you do buy it, and that would make you a person who supports bad business practice, at least do what any self-respecting person did with the Indiana Jones box set: pay, then open it on the spot, remove the disc which contains the last installment, and break it infront of the store employees.

What? Why would you break The Last Crusade? There certainly isn't a horrible movie that occurs after LC, so why would you do that? ;)

They wouldn't make this announcement without publishing rights squared away. They're not insane.

It's possible that they revamped ME1.

Perhaps on consoles they used a newer version of the Unreal Engine so there is less FPS issues and bugs.

Doubt it. They would have advertised it if they did...

Or maybe they retconned thermal clips into ME1. :wizard::wizard:

haha Personally I wish they stuck with overheating weapons

Yeah. At least Prothean weapons don't use thermal clips.

...Yet.

Next thing we know DA3 weapons will have thermal clips too

i suspect this will not sell as many as they think.

Especially with Halo 4 being released at the same time.

ME1 was such a bad**** game. That entire game (besides the gameplay mechanics) was the best IMO. I played ME2 much more simply because of the enomrous replay value with all the different squad members

but ME1 had those moments like:
  • Vigil
  • Meeting Wrex the first time (which could be 3 different scenarios)
  • Nihlus
  • The Exploration (despite the awful rhino-vehicle)
  • The Confrontation with Wrex
  • Wrex & his Elevator Talks
  • Noveria - and the greatness of how bad**** Noveria Mission was compared to barebone feros
  • Benezia Battle
  • Yellling at Liara when first meeting with her and telling her how stupid she is
  • Wrex Family Armor
  • Meeting Garrus the first time in the Med Clinic with Michel
  • Meeting Hanars the first time on the Citadel calling it a stupid jellyfish
  • Meeting the Volus's & Elcors the First time
  • Anderson Punching Udina
  • Corporal Toombs
  • Sovereign Confrontation on Virmire
  • The Greatness of Urdnot Wrex
There's so much more. ME1 had it. WTF happened with ME3...........how you lose the "magic" that ME1 had & ME2 had. I"m serious

Wait....wait....hold a second! Mass Effect Trilogy edition ok so far. But without bug fixes??
isn't it so hard to fixes bug's from Mass Effect 1 til Mass Effect 3??

And the guy's who already got Mass Effect 2 and 3, must pay again 80$ may 90$ for an
(N7 Elite Edition) my luck that i have only a PC ^^. but this isn't fair i think so.

and no dlc's included i hope it is still in progress.

Could this mean that after this release the possibility of no further ME3 DLC exists?

Seem so IMO

I mean everything is possible, nobody unless BioWare know's what is including in the Box.
And if after this release there won't be more further dlc's for ME3 then you can say.
Goodbye to your Shepard :crying::blush:.

Thank you BioWare! Finally our PS3 brethren can experience the full story. I myself have no need to buy this unless ME1 looks much better. Then I would.

CUT OFF THEIR LIMBS!

Dismember them! That should do the job!

*UI info pops up* Cut off limbs to disable enemies.

*Picks up audio log* Aim for the limbs! That's the only thing that keeps them down!

*facepalm*

It's normal Bungie no longer makes the series.
Now it's 343.
So many fans don't now if this is going to be a good or bad thing.
Even less people know that key figures of Bungie now work for MS.

Chief and Shepard my two favorite game characters :D

I'm so grateful that Bioware's coming through for the PS3 on this, I feel like we owe XBox users something in exchange... Metal Gear Solid 4 on the XBox 360--make it happen Bill and Hideo.

ok lets go through what they have said in the notes

•Over 75 hours of story content, plus Mass Effect 3’s critically acclaimed multiplayer mode.

TRUE fact there is over 75 hours of play, if truth be told you can get roughly 100+ hours per game if you want to get perfection

"ME3 critically acclaimed multiplayer mode." no that is a LIE, almost EVERY review i have read have panned the MP so much that most reviewers dont even aknowlage it

•Create and customize your own character with his or her appearance and skills, then play your Commander Shepard through all three Mass Effect games.

why yes that is true you can indeed do that with your version of shepard be it male or female

•Experience an amazingly rich and detailed universe where your decisions have profound consequences on the action and the outcome.

this is only PARTLY true, the chopices you make in ME1 affect ME2 and has an affect on the end mission in ME2 but as is was shown in ME3 no matter what you did in ME1 or ME2 so this i am afraid is an OUTRIGHT LIE

•Build a personalized arsenal with powerful weapons complete with their own upgrades and modifications

you cannot personalize weapons in game, you can only add in PRE-DEFINED and SET mods which is not what  is classed as "personalized" so this is a half truth

•Unleash devastating abilities and skills as you command and train an elite squad.

yep you dont train your squadmates, you dont show them what to do, you cant ajust there AI nor can you change there personality so this is a half truth but is mostly a LIE
also you do have great powers but not as devastating as they are saying

•Take the war online with class-based, co-operative multiplayer in Mass Effect 3.
co-op multiplayer, where, when i never saw that in ANY of the games, all i see is a crappy gears of war horde mode rip-off.

co-op means you play through missions with another person over the inter network

sorry but they are still spouting bullcrap and lies as before, if they stuck to there PUBLIC PROMIESES and did what they said they did  then this would not be a coffin nail.

i suspect this will not sell as many as they think.

also they do have a small legal problem, mass effect 1 is still under microsofts copyright as bioware at the time was part of microsoft game studios.

if this goes onto the PS3 then i suspect there may be a HUGE LAWSUIT.

yes i know your all going to scream "BUT bioware made it and EA now own bioware so that means the game is now EA's"

well on a TECHNICAL note thats true BUT on a LEGAL note its not, that means microsoft will get a cut of EVERY SINGLE ONE of these trilogy packs sold.

Your choices did influence the outcome. Tuchanka, Coup, Rannoch - All respond to your choices. Characters live or die, planets can burn due to Shepards Choices. And most likely, the EC will be included, so your Paragon/Renegade, EMS and Tuchanka/Rannoch choice dooes influence the ending you get.

"mumble CO-OP mumble"

Do you actually know what Co-op is? Working as a team with other people, therefore true

yep you dont train your squadmates, you dont show them what to do, you cant ajust there AI nor can you change there personality so this is a half truth but is mostly a LIE
also you do have great powers but not as devastating as they are saying

You literally have no idea do you? You train them, raise them from level 1 to 60, and yes in ME1 you can change their personality, so you lied their.

you cannot personalize weapons in game, you can only add in PRE-DEFINED and SET mods which is not what  is classed as "personalized" so this is a half truth

Personalized means creating something tailored to you, so therefore it is personalisation.

PS3 version has no release date yet.
It only says "later" on the official ME3 website.
Still it is coming although i prefer my 360(big hands require bigger controller) i'm glad for the ps3 owners.
And if ME 1 looks better on PS3 i might yet buy it for my good old shining 60GB(still wish i had bigger controller LOL).
