Unless of course they planned ahead and stealth patched/included all the code already.

This is surprising. Other than Gears, ME1 was really the only other exclusive game draw for Xbox.
Lol, I think the Master Chief would like to have a word with you....
A couple Halos and Gears are the only true exclusives worth talking about. Cleared that up earlier. Maybe Fable. Maybe.

Does anybody else get the feeling there are gonna be some issues with the whole PS3 Retroactive patch thing that's going to need to happen for ME1 to properly affect ME2 and 3?

I kind of figure they'll be on top of that, being is they've rigged it for wii..

What do I do now?
I want to play Mass Effect 1 on my ps3
But I hate what they did with ME3's ending and their behaviour after all that fiasco
Choices...![]()
Choices.........................................Ah yes....................we remember them.......sigh.
Well Mass Effect 1 was the better game in the trilogy, so even though there is a lot about ME3 and the pre-release misinformation that I dislike, I'd buy it. I personally have no plans to buy any new copies of any new games they release, until I see examples of better business practices when it comes to pre-release claims made of their games, and will approach their new games with a certain level of skepticism. But ME1? I loved it and would definately love to have it on my console rather than PC...so they're getting my money on this one.

Mass Effect 1 for PS3? I never thought I'd see the day.
I hope it's available as a separate download off PSN, though.

Me1 alone is so worth it.

My ass.
I love how they're charging a mere $60 for all three games, basically spitting in the faces of loyal customers (again) who bought the game like what, 6 months ago. Just trying to milk as much money out of this dead franchise. Thanks EA and Bioware. You've once again shown your true colors.

What should they charge? Most places aren't selling ME3 for $60 anymore, and you can pick up ME1 and ME2 for around $10-15 each in most places. I have seen many people here say that they hope for a trilogy edition. Besides, selling for more than the standard price tends to scare away potential customers.

I guess you're right. Especially considering how terrible ME3 is, they probably should actually be charging around $30 for everything.Gruntburner wrote...

ME2 and ME3 run fine for me. I don't see why ME1 wouldn't.

ME1 on 360 is also one disc bro.
That makes me wonder. Will the whole trilogy be on one Blu-ray disc for the PS3?

I don't think so. One Blu-Ray disc holds 50GB of data if it's dual layered. I think we'll see one disc for each game on the PS3.
ME1: ~7 GB
ME2: 12 GB
ME3: 14 GB
ME trilogy: ~ 33 GB

That's why Blu-Ray is better than DVD. More space for uncompressed data.

Yeah but that's compressed. I don't think they'd cram all of that on one disc. You get ****ty looking cinematics and such if you smoosh data in there.

That's true.
