I will buy this for sure....................I just hope that the new consoles will let us play this because I would hate to have to keep my old 360 just so I can play this game...
I'm sure it'll be available for next gen at some point too.
Backwards compatibility is doubtful.

Experience an amazingly rich and detailed universe where your decisions have profound consequences on the action and the outcome.
My ass.
I love how they're charging a mere $60 for all three games, basically spitting in the faces of loyal customers (again) who bought the game like what, 6 months ago. Just trying to milk as much money out of this dead franchise. Thanks EA and Bioware. You've once again shown your true colors.
My various decisions impacted ALL of my playthroughs appropriately... so I dont belive your ass
Please tell me how picking Udina over Anderson impacted your playthrough. Please tell me how saving the Rachni or killing them impacts your playthrough. Please tell me how saving the Collector base impacts your playthrough. Please tell me how anything you do in ME3 or prior impacts the final mission.
Go ahead. I'll wait. And remember, Bioware is STILL advertising that the outcome of the game is shaped by your decisions, which is a major lie that they just keep telling.
As for the whole Angry Birds thing....really? Who the hell would even buy that for consoles lmao. Not even worth complaining about because even $1 is too much for a game like that on a console!
^^
Daaammmmnnnnnn, that be checkmate.
Glad somebody else realized that your choices don't really matter.
Sadly, Rannoch, Tucanka, and Grissom Academy(and ME2's Suicide Mission) were the ONLY missions in the entire trilogy where your previous decisions actually did matter.
how is that a checkmate?
Sure most choices dont have DRASTIC effects, but they DO change tone and dialogue. Sure its nothing as expansive as HOURS of different content, but it IS different.
Sure you can argue that choices really dont matter, but then I could say the same about every other game too...so it'd be a vicious cycle. But good job saying half the game matters but then it doesnt

I would hope they remembered that...

I'm sure there will be backwards compatibility for next gen consoles like there was for this gen, I can still play Halo 2 and Halo whenever I want on my 360. PS3 on the other hand is up in the air, while I don't have one, I've heard that not every console is backwards compatible.

The key word here is *outcome* of the game. Flavor text and cameo appearances have no bearing on the outcome. Regardless of if you were the ultimate life-saving paragon or a dastardly renegade who got the majority of your squad killed, both will end up alone, making one of three (refuse is a NSGO) choices.

Now the only questions that remain are when is it coming out, will we be able to import the savegames to ME2 and will have an identical experience to PC and XBox, and will DLC be included?

What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy?
- On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle
Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included
which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack,
Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash
site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting
players access to co-op multiplayer. - On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not
included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone
downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will
be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3. - Information on PlayStation 3 DLC will be available soon.

@sarah_ann_mann Well, we've got a little something special planned for FemShep coming, so keep that chin up!

@sarah_ann_mann @Crazy_Rah Not with the cover art. We're doing something separate.
Maybe has to do with the new face being patched in ME1-ME2.

At least in PS or Pc online is free as it should be .
In Ps Plus (which i am a subscriber) you pay the same for xbox live and i get free games every month.
i ve played Infamous 2 , Lbp 2, Double dragon Neon, darksiders, Borderlands, just cause 2, dead space 2 and tons of other games for free.
You xbox guys should banish the milking microsoft does.
On topic Dlc should be in the discs, make the game more expensive but they should be there. this IS a trilogy bioware!!!!!!!

The only problems with those free games is that not always complete and there is time limit. I downloaded the free version of Resident Evil 2 and guess what I couldn't play the Clair version of the game and couldn't get access the new game plus for completing with Leon, and I downloaded other Sonic 2 and in about 3 months I couldn't play it anymore without buying it.

PS3 peeps forced to rebuy the whole thing if they want ME1? Ouch.
yea that's kinda BS, especially since just about everyone here has ME2 and ME3
You can buy the First mass effect on PSN seperately if you already own 2 & 3. I own them both but i'm still buying the trilogy for the hell of it!
