Mass Effect 1: No longer a Xbox exclusive? (I guess it good for others?)

You cant really pick and choose like that. In the greater scheme of things even though I dont like the wii it has sold the most systems so 360 and PS3 while technically youc ould say are in a different bracket, are still vying I would imagine for 2nd/3rd place in consoles sold.
and sure a lot of games sell better on PS3 (especially here in the states), but what does that matter to me when the majority of the games I enjoy (aside from ME) are all on PS3? I prefer Sony's 1st party titles to the majority of MS's which as of right now is basically only Halo and GoW, unfortunately two franchises, I havce no further interest in. I personally prefer Sony's 1st and 2nd party game strategy to Microsofts, they have a nice mix of games and dont seem to frown on stuff trying to be new. Which is a good thing.
As far as commercials, I see a decent mix where I live some pushing sony others oushing MS, though i very rarely see ones with "exclusive features with xbox live", maybe kinect but...yeah
Look I know you dislike sony for...whatever reason, I really dont care, as a gamer I play all consoles (yes even the Wii..though I no longer have one personally) So I have no allegiance to one particular company and rather see 3 consoles on the market as a Good thing for innovation.

Go watch the Resident Evil 6 trailer, 3 new game modes on Xbox live. Or go watch the old Skyrim trailer, exclusive DLC for xbox live. In fact, just pick the biggest names in gaming, and go watch their trailers. You talk about PS strategy, yet all the big blockbuster titles sell better and usually run better on 360.
As for Nintendo, the Wii is simply not a high end console like the 360/PS3. It's a casual gamer thing aimed at mothers and young kids, and they sold most of those copies because it doubles up as an exercise bike or something.

I have both so I get the best of both worlds. As for sales, good for MS, I hope their success continues into the next console generation, but I prefer a company that focuses on gaming rather than the latest way get more of your money on their tablet initiatives.
Not saying I have anything against MS, but as a company I prefer Sony's gaming options to MS's, which oddly have nothing to do with Multiplatform games like you seem to think.

I like that they have a varied portfolio when it comes to gaming, do I like ALL their offerings? No, but I DO like that they are at least still creating new and different IPs. Something I cant quite say for MS anymore who only seems to focus on "expanding Xbox's brand and functionality" at this point. Now I have nothing against their 1st and 2nd party games, I like a lot of them, I just wish they had MORE of them.
Like I said I dont consider multiplatform games, as much of a deciding factor. Because each console gets little things here and there. yes even PS3 and for most things it doesnt matter much to myself in the long run whether 360 gets an exclusive skin or the PS3 does, that doesnt usually sway my purchasing decision

How come gamers and fanboys just get along? I know I'm a neutral but I prefer Xbox my main system. I have PC, PS3 and I use too have Nintendo. I grew up with Videogames. Also The More and new contents is the better. If the game came complete it honestly would end up bring kinda boring. DLC brings new content to games and mods also, who cares if you have to pay for them, also there many cheapos and complainers that don't like buying new things. I'm sorry to say you have too, deal with it. I dealt with cheapness and other things too it gets annoying.
Because fanboys are idiots, they aren't gamers, they elitist ****s

Since these western RPGs have been released on PS3, they've really been dumbed down. I don't know why, I think a lot of it is to do with the PS audience wanting different things.
DA:O is the only western RPG on PS3 that hasn't been considerably dumbed down from older games that were released on Xbox and PC and I believe it was originally planned as 360/PC exclusive. All of this streamlining of WRPG's seems to be related to PS3 players, who are known for being more about style and less substance, not purchasing deeper more involving games than anime kids swinging around swords.

This is not 2007 anymore, if there is such thing as a "high end" console in 2012 we are talking about the WiiU

I think my issue with Sony, is Sony always had the japanese stuff, and the metal gears. Xbox always had the KOTOR, Jade Empire, Morrowind.
