... Delete save option at the main menu. Because do you know what a pain in the ass it is to delete save files from the Xbox dashboard? You have the read the numbers to make sure you're deleting the right save file, otherwise you may be commiting a big booboo and erasing all your ingame progress. A delete save option on the main menu at least can provide a thumbnailed image of where you are now in the game.

I mean come on, all three Mass Effect games have this feature, which makes it easy for me to organize my save files. But two games on Dragon Age has yet to have it. Why is this is so? Please hear me out.

P.S. Note that I make this request as an Xbox gamer. I've no idea whether the PC and PS3 versions of Dragon Age 1 and 2 have this feature already.

The "PC version" has one at the main menu, yes.

Well lucky for the PC gamers then. It just seems strange why the devs have not incorporated this feature in the main menu. IMO every RPG should have it.

My Xbox lists dates and locations of where I saved, so I rarely run into this problem.

On the general topic of save game files: I'd like to see a "quick save" button for the console version. I played both versions of DAO and this is one of the more annoying differences for me.

Supported and it makes sense too. Oh and before the technical "expert" comes rushing in decrying that it can't be done, Divinity 2 for Xbox 360 had this feature.

Supported. It's annoying to have to wait for my hard drive to load and then realise I don't know what save I'm going to delete.

Agreed, I hate having to exit the game just to go into my hard drive and delete saves.

OP I agree. I hate hoe just because I want to start a new game I have to go back to the dashboard, delete every save file for one playthrough just to play the game again

Yeah, this is an easy thing to support. I am surprised it wasn't included originally, but yes, please include the option to delete save game files from inside the game, rather than from the Xbox dashboard.

I support this! Also, if possible, increase the character limit (as in - how many PCs you can make/save)! pretty please?

Also, I appreciated how the journal entries in DA2 would stay highlighted until you read past them, in DAO on the xbox, as soon as you scroll down to it, the highlight went away and was a bit tricky to remember which ones hadn't already been read. (hope that made sense..)

Oh yeah. That too. But in all honesty, that character limit has a serious design flaw. In the original Dragon Age, how come when we play an expansion like Awakening with our original character, it automatically occupies a new character slot? You can have up to 4 or 5 character slots filled with the same damn Warden! WTF?! Can't we have all our respective Warden's saves in just one character slot? Like in Mass Effect? Seriously?

And this.
:)

I've had to delete my Orlesian warden entirely, full playthroughs of DA:A, all of my Golems of Amgarrok saves, and a Witch Hunt save just to get slots availbable to play the six origin wardens. That means some of them move on and do DA:A and Witchhunt, some just do DA:A, some just Witchhunt, and some just stop at DA:O. I wasn't allowed to bring them all into the dlc stories, no matter how I wanted to.

For a second, I was worried this was gonna turn into a console war/vs PC thing, but I can support this.

Yeah, this is pretty messed up.

Yes, make saves deletable from the menu, please! Also, the ability to have more characters at once would be nice, as that's the main reason I delete saves in the first place.

I'll play this on PC, but the OP'S suggestion makes sense and I support it out of solidarity. Posted Image
