My problem with a voiced PC was that i didnt know what my PC was gonna say. But it seems they fixed that for Inquisition, so problem solved
This is a very interesting thread. Lotsa interesting discussion and stuff here. (Or else it's just how this forum has been lately).
It would have been better if we never had reasons to have it, 'course. And I think it's considered mostly pointless, for the moment, until we see what DA:I has to offer. Hopefully, they haven't gone all out for bust on making yet another DA2, "just better". Frankly, I don't think they have. But we'll see, eventually.
If you know why the problem would be solved, plz take the opportunity to enlighten us, - before this thread is locked for some arbitrary reason.

Why the **** do people actually want a silent protagonist? It disconnects you from the world and your party talks about you like your not there and you can say ****. C'mon, voiced is better, more emotion and adds immersion.
It's totally the other way around. Utterly.
But you people don't understand that.
You see, it's like this: A lot of us don't want to see or experience any kind of similarity between an RPG and a book or a movie. None at all.
We do NOT want to experience the protagonist at the surface. We want to control the protagonist. In every way. We want to control how he/she reacts, what is said, what is unsaid but inside the head.
Sofar, in particular regarding DA2, voiced protagonist can totally destroy, ruin, this sort of gaming. We call this sort of gaming "role playing", for good reasons. Much better reasons than why DA2 and FF7 are labeled "RPG".

Where's the lock? Mods getting lazy.
Oh, they're probably off or busy. My feeling is that the forums are run with less supervision and control lately. I doubt they're lazy. But they might have better things to do.
