I am about to make my run in DA:O and was wondering what opinions were as to which companions were the most interesting as you played the game.

I'd say alister, liana and morrigan are pretty good

In terms of entertainment value, I find that Shale, Allister and Morrigan make a good group. Shale brings out some random comments, Allister is just weird, and he and Morrigan have some pretty good dialogue between them.



Plus Morrigan is hotter than Leliana

The dialogues between Oghren and Morrigan are very funny. I also like Shale´s comments, so they are my 3 favorite companions.

Alistair and Morrigan in the same party is often very amusing. They bicker like brother and sister at times. I sometimes wander around places with them doing nothing just to listen to them sniping at each other.



Zevran and Wynne together make me laugh a lot too. Add Oghren to that to make is more amusing.

So far I find Lelianna pretty interesting. Mainly because of her background and what I actually view her as compared to what she is classed as.

Morrigan is just funny to me and so far I'm really enjoying her complexities.



Don't know Shale, assuming thats someone from DLC, Alistair has an interesting bg but he whines too much. I do like Zephran though

Funny wise is Morrigan and Alistair



The team i take is Shale, Lianne, and Wynne.



Shale provides some entertainment hes got some good comments, funny to refeer to you as It instead of him/her/he/she/you

Zevran, Wynne, Oghren. Sexual harassment knows no boundaries, age, race, gender, height or alcohol consumption level.



Toss in Shale for anti-bird feelings.

In the beginning, I prefer Alistair, Zevran, and Leliana.

Towards the end, I prefer Sten, Alistair, and Shale.



But I played as mage, so I had no need of Wynne (who I never brought along) or Morrigan (...I'd take her around more if she wasn't straight... in the beginning I really only brought along people I was 'in-tent' with).

I didn't really like Morrigan much in the long run. I also hate the way she uses "tis" all the time, it just doesn't fit and sounds fake.



My personal pick would be Allistair, Sten and Shale.

Least favorite is probably Leliana, which isn't to say I don't like her. She just seemed predictable and not very... enthusiastic about anything that was happening. Like she could only speak in a single tone or something. Just wasn't very interesting.

I usually go with two variations: Zevran/Sten/Shale and Zevran/Oghren/Wynne. Both combination is pure epicness.

Agree!

Shale is great for comedy value (not to mention the combat prowess).

My favorites are Zevran, Wynne and Alistair. Oghren is really fun too.
