Hello, I just installed the game last night and after configuration issues, I have the game running.

Everything works the way it should, I can access all menus and play the game no problem. However, with all the graphical details set to max, I am getting really weak textures and the verticle sync is terrible. Screen tearing everywhere.

I purchased the EA Value Games version from amazon and it came with 2 disks. I assume they are both for installing?
I was only propted to install the first one, when I insert the second disk, it is treated as if it is the same disk.

What is the install size? I checked the folder and there is only 9.88 gigs of data there. Isn't there supposed to be 12 gb?

Also, there is no icon to just play the game, only a lauch which i then use to play it, is that normal? (new to pc gaming)

Specs:

Windows 7 x64

Intel i5 2500k 3.3 gh quad core

Radeon HD 7850 2gb

8 gb of RAM

Current Direct X

Video card drivers are all current, don't know what else to say, kinda new to pc gaming, so the software stuff is still kinda beyond my expertise.

HOLY COW! JUST SAW THEY ARE RELEASING A TRILIGY COMPILATION! Hopefully problems will be fixed.

You didn't provide SPECIFICS on your video driver.  The last known really good Catalyst version was 12.4, I believe.

Bioware's owners have departed.  It's just EA now.  Don't expect patching beyond the last retail level of the stand-alone games.

That is most likely the problem. Go back to something older.

Ok, I've heard that 12.4 is a good version. However, I have no idea how to get an old driver...I'll figure it out though
