If Cullen is available as LI for all, I will pre-order it. Bioware,

Image IPB

Seriously though, Mass Effect 3 is a good game, the ending was disappointing, but it's not all that bad for me. Dragon Age 2 is a okay standalone game, just don't compare it with DAO. I feel like DA2 is still a whole lot better than a lot of RPG games out there. DAO just sets the standard too high.

I generally don't care for user reviews, but I'm going to wait until I have a better idea of what the game's actually like.

I'm pre-ordering just so I can say "pre-order cancelled" if something horrible leaks out.

Where is this bisexuality stuff about DA3 coming from?  I'm bisexual and would LOVE it if there was a lot of play there.  Links?

I think her/his signature is from a support group, I don't think anything about romance has been confirmed.

If it's good I'll get it, though I'm much more reserved and will be checking my facts more with this one. If it's bad then goodbye Bioware good luck. I do believe DA3 could very well to be good. If I didn't have that hope I wouldn't be wasting my time on a forum about something I'd never be interested in.

User reviews are about as trustworthy as a windowless van with free candy spray painted on the side.

Honestly. Finding a well-thought user review underneath the heaps of fanboyism, butthurt, and trolling isn't worth it in the least.

I'll be watching leaks and gameplay footage, it's portrayal of mages and Templars, the quality of the companions and if the ending is good. If all of that pleases me I will buy DA3:I.

The portrayal of mages and templars however is very important, if it's anything like DA2 I'll just ignore DA3:I, even if it has good companions.

It's hard to be excited about something that's mostly vapourware right now. When we know more, then I may be excited. It depends on what the game is like.

Who is not going to buy this unless it gets excellent user reviews?

I've read so much that Bioware have had their last chance with their last two games and the way they treat the fanbase, and yet everyone on this board is acting like none of that happened.

me.  I adore Bioware games so much but they really messed the end of ME3 the EC couldn't even save it and I wanted so hard for it to fix it.  I liked the EC but I still can't play the game and therefore I won't buy the DLC for ME3.

Bioware burned me so bad by making me care so much and then providing no real way to win in the manner I had become accustomed to that I am still a bit shell shocked about it I mean even Mario ALways beat Bowser and saved Princess Peach from Donkey Kong.

So You can bet every cent you own I will be waiting for user reviews and youtube videos.  I will not willingly invest hours of my life into a game that at the end kicks me so hard in the feel goods that I forgot what it feels like to feel good about a game.

Princess Peach never gets kidnapped by Donkey Kong... that was Pauline

What didn't you like about the mages and templars in DA2? Merrill, Anders, Orsino, Bethany and Tarohne were so different, you can't just generalize. Carver, Meredith, Cullen and Wilmod (or was Keran the more important one?) were also very different too.

To be fair, it did seem like every mage you found was a blood mage sooner or later. The templars were just as bad, with most being insane or sadistic.

 The issue is not diffrence(and I disagree with you on Orsino and Tarohne, wboth which where batcrap insane moronic and don't get me started on Meredith. The issue is both sides being batcrap insane extreme. DAO did not have that, very few characters for both sides where insane or had stupid reasons, DA2 however was filled with this crap. Hopefully DA3:I is more balanced.

This is also coming from a person who likes Merrill, Cullen, Carver and Beth.

I'd preorder whatever Collector's edition they have planned just to get some free DLC. But never again will I preorder until I've read some user reviews. I got burned so hard by ME3 that Bioware has to earn back my trust.

Never again.

We'll see. Once I would have pre-ordered without thinking. But ME3 burned me badly.

I *liked* DA2, though. So that game wouldn't keep me from getting DA3. And my guess is that the person responsible for the Ghost Boy fiasco in ME3 won't also be the lead writer in DA3.

Gaider is lead writer for DA, Mac was lead for ME3.

Already pre-ordered in my mind. I've got cash to burn and no matter how disappointing some aspect may be BioWare games are superior to 95% of every games released on the market in recent years.

Everything about ME3 prior to release was positive and all the ME2-related concerns were being dealt with and so on, I was really hyped up and preordered.

With this one I'm going back to what I did for Nwn, Jade Empire, ME1 and DAO: Read about it and then decide.

Bioware has a lot to prove. No preorder-I may buy if it looks more like DAO than DA2.
