but then the Warden wouldn't have died killing the archdemon. If she was with Alistair, Loghain, or even Riordan then the ritual would have been completed thus the Warden survivng, but that isn't what happens if you don't do the ritualArokel wrote...

With that everybody must have survived the battle with the Archdemon and the ritual must be canon.

At the end of DA2 it is mentioned, that the warden has vanished (along with Hawke). Also Alistair is king in a default playthrough of DA2.

It is canon with that preset.

They say Hawke is gone, just like the Warden. That could mean dead or missing, it just matters on how you look at it

Yeah it will. It's unfortunate BioWare didn't seem to think it through entirely.

I think, if the Warden would be dead, people would remember him as hero of Ferelden and not as simply gone.

I don't remeber exactly but I know she never mentioned having a child if you refused. Then again she didn't say she didn't have one.

-Warden doing the sacerfice, which means the warden is always alive no matter what which would [iss off people again after the fiasco wit DA:A.
-Either the Warden is also a male or Morrigan slept with Alistair/Loghain with no premission, if she did with Alistair and you romanced Alistair...Yat he Alistair fangirls are oging to blow an even bigger casket
-Witch Hunt it self as Witch Hunt has many varritions, includign the kid never being born and Morrigan going through the mirror
That would be three massive retcons just to do one thing. Even the most smallest retcon angers people, this woud make the ME3 ending fiasco look like a joke.

True & you're right to say "Bioware shot themselfs in the foot with the OGB by making it a choice" among other things. They create interesting possibilities, but don't emphasis on those concepts, which at times can be depressing.Mr.House wrote...
