I feel sorry for Morrigan what with being a single mother and not even able to call on her mother for help.

What does she say in Witch Hunt if the dark ritual didn't happen?
-Kid is never mentioned and she outright says why should she tell you anything when oyu outright threw her offer outt he window
-She is going through the mirror to hide, not to train anybody
-You can stab Morrigan, but she falls through the mirror.
-she's not much more hostile, the hostility actually is limited to only couple of lines
- she still tells you exactly the same things whether or not you have the child
- you can still stab her even if there is a baby

The fact is with the kid, she outright tells you she is also gonig through the mirror to train him, this is not said if you refused the ritual because there is no kid. OGB was a choice, something that will not be major unless Gaider decides to do retcons.Masha Potato wrote...

yeah but, you know, it's kind of obvious that she doesn't mention any kid if there isn't any kid

Anyway, I really hope the key plot point of the next big Bioware game is not another kid. Like really really.
Maybe they can make this a mini boss. If Morrigan doesn't have a kid she fights you. If she has the kid both of them help you in the endgame and you have a quest that involves her. Branching scenarios like the prison part of DA:O.
