hm, one child vs the chantry? So a child vs a belief?
I think this thread needs to be re-written to put this in perspective a bit. Because the child could have the old god in them, but why would the child want to use any power, or would the old god even give a child extra power? The old god is just a soul isn't it? The child was just born with the soul of an old god...
The chantry is the church and the church has stood for hundreds of years through peoples' beliefs. How can you do "vs" with these two very separate things?

Did the darkspawn not worship the old god for hundreds of years. You always see war between opposing factions. That soul was an immortal soul, a soul of a god.
