Hi

Title really says it all. I would like to see more situations/plots/quests revolving around having fun. Usually its all about gloom and doom, and thats fine for most part but it would be nice to have some funny and fun situations in game aswell, just to relax a little bit. For example, the first witcher quest that asked you to prepare a party was quite cool and funny (you could even bring a hooker to a party - for the record i'm not advocating you should do that). I'm not saying game should change into some sort of sim game. I'm saying it would be nice to have more variety in quests. Meeting your companions in a tavern or inn. Attending a Orlean noble wedding for example (weddings in Game of thrones mould would be esppecially fun - people who have read it know what i'm talking about, people who only watch the show, prepare for season 3 - it will be unforgetable) or some other occasion.
I would also love to see more quests involving meddling, scheming, agendas and such, possibly involving orleans high borns fighting over power. Things like that.

Speaking of game of thrones. When i first played DA:O and saw for a very first time King Cailan, my first impressions were - that guy looks like Jaime Lannister. Few monts later, i've read an interview with David Gaider i think (not sure it was him) when he stated that Game of Thrones was among bigger inspirations for a Dragon Age. So, i would like to ask if thats indeed the case, just to satisfy my curiosity - is Cailan modeled on Kingslayer (atlest lookswise)

Yeah, some happier quests would be cool. I tend to prefer the emotional ones, though.

Now, in the subject of Game of Thrones, there will be one of the three weddings next season, but the two greatest ones are only going to be in the fourth season(they're splitting the 3rd book in two seasons). I don't know about Cailan, but there is a character named Jory in DAO, I think he was named after Jory Cassel of A Game of Thrones. I'd really love if they got all inspired in A Song of Ice and Fire, it'd be awesome meets awesome to become super awesome.

Kinda like The Long Road and Gamlen's Greatest Tresure quests in DA2? That was a nice change from all the doom and gloom and demons.

I don't mind emotioanal ones, in fact i like them too. The example i used was one that just poped in my head when i though about having fun quests. Speaking of GoT, i believe the first wedding will be in episode 8. I though there was a good chance the second one will be in last one,. Are you sure its not gonna  make it this season?

Yes I like this idea, an odd quest here or there where we can get up to a bif of mischief would be fun. In DA2 we had a quest to help 2 characters get together. How about a quest to stop a couple getting together doing things like throwing mabari dog biscuits into the middle of their cosy picnic so the dog tramples over all their food, or paying one of the local brothel workers to turn up insisting that their services have been ordered by one of the couple when they're having a candlelit meal. Maybe you'd have to be playing a renegade type of character to do these things but it would be nice to have the odd quest that makes you laugh and is a bit of light relief in between the more serious campaign.

MotA went more light-hearted. If you had Charming Hawke, it was down-right funny and sometimes silly. I can't bring myself to play MotA with any other Hawke. Given some lines that all Hawkes and Tallis and others always say in specific situations, I think they wanted to lean towards silly with it.

Tallis: "How can ham taste of 'despair'? Why would anyone eat it if it did?"

Servant: "This cheese tastes of sorrow."

Hawke: "Avoid the cheese plate. Terrible."

No, I'm not sure. I think Edmure's wedding would be a kickass season finale. Although, George is going to write the seventh episode, and I  wanted him to write the wedding.
