seen youtube clips of pc version, looks ways eaiser to play, can keep paused during battles whilst issuing commands, can look from top view, less bugs that make game harder and of course mods as well as the console to issue commands like to get rare items. The console seems more like an action game whilst the pc looks like a mmo.
is PC version much easier than console

Get it on PC. The combat is absolutely terrible on console, while i think it's brilliant on PC. That's how different the UI is. Plus, you can mod it. And it looks way better.
With DA2 you can go either way though, as they improved the console gameplay significantly.

The main advantage of the PC version of DAO is the mods. There are some truly lovely mods (ZDF and improved atmosphere) that clean up a great number of the glitches and bugs in the vanilla game.

I would say it is easier on the PC, yes. If memory serves, the console version does not allow for a top-down view of the battlefield and the default console pause view is really quite restrictive.
Overall, DAO on the PC is vastly superior to the Console version and will run on most fairly modern machines no problem.
Still, the console version is very enjoyable IF you haven't played the PC version, because the story is so fun and interactive.

I'm finding that in most cases, the PC versions are much more superior in game play, and graphics. However, that being said...I still have yet to play DAII on PC, but I will play it shortly since I just bought it in a bundle for 10 bucks

The pc version has the top-down view and access to mods, but I wouldn't consider it necessarily "easier". The console versions give you double the mana/stamina regeneration on equipment and more health potions in loot, as well as some enemies appearing under different conditions or not at all. After playing many playthroughs of Origins on xbox 360, then playing on pc, I thought that the pc version was actually more challenging.
*Also, the bridge puzzle in the Gauntlet is tougher. I could easily do that with 3 people on xbox 360 with a little trial and error. One wrong move on pc, and the warden falls through the bridge and you have to start over.
Overall, the console version just plays faster, while I do more pause and play on pc.
