Yeah, yeah...your skewed political agenda (funny how positive things coming from discrimination for women and negative from men are always forgotten..) concernes me not

Please don't assume such things. It's not very polite to imply people do not care for the equality of men.

Frankly, most injustices toward men seem to be fixable by elevating the women anyway. Men can cry when crying is no longer associated with feminine weakness, men can keep parental rights more easily in custody battles when women aren't considered to be nurturing mothers by nature, and men can get the right to stay out of the draft when we drop the notion how women are ill suited for military life - or perhaps we're all drafted with no excuses, but at least that's equality.

As for "positive things" to come out of discrimination, I have a hard time believing there is such a thing from the view of society at large.

Oh no?

It's "women and children first" no?
Men have trought history been expendalbe.
Women were precious and to be protected, men were given the deadliest jobs. That's the prime reason why men were warriors (tough the physical advantage helped).

If a woman slaps a man on TV, whats your first reaction? Probably "he must have earned it"
If a man slaps a woman on TV, what's your first reaction? Probably "that bastard, how can he?"

Don't speak of compeltely equality.
It doesn't exist. It will never happen. and frankly I don't even see a need for it. Men and women aren't compeltey the same and I dont' see why they should be treated compeltely the same, in every last detail.

But that's neither here nor there and it's off-topic.

Thing is men are more expendable because we can't have babies.

1 man can impregnate alot of women

but a woman has a limit on how many children she can safely bare

Drafting women into military service is not ideal because most of them can't perform the same physical activities as men can and even if they meet the criteria, several women who have served in the military and fought at gunpoint have come home with post-traumatic stress disorder, making their government have to pay for their care. In short, the amount of female war veterans suffering from PTSD  is higher, therefore female soldiers are more expensive for the government than guys serving in the military, yet they come with no advantages compared to their male peers.

I am in favour of voluntary military service for women, but forcing every 'able-bodied' woman over 18 into military service in time of war seems like a good idea if you want to end up with disastrous results.

Does this really have to devolve into a gender flame war? PLEASE!

This was a discussion of the merits of having a female character advertised in a trailer in some context. Nothing more. And I am honestly shocked, and a little scared, that some seem to actually be OFFENDED by the idea, as opposed to merely being indifferent. :(

I don't know why they don't just do one trailer that shows both sexes. They could just transition back and forth.
Male hero jumps up to bring his blade down on the enemy, quick wipe and change of angle, and the female hero brings down the blade.
Female hero gathers energy around her hands and body, quick wipe and a change of angle, and the male hero looses a fireball.
Etc.

Oh I like this idea.

It emphasises that the pc is the same person. That's a point I would really like to see driven home.

I agree. With great music, graphics, and camera angles, this could be incredible. :D
