Hello! Hopefully there are still people playing this old but great game roaming aroundt he forum.
My party went into a basilisk area, and three of six got petrified. I had no more scrolls to turn them back, so other three left for the temple to buy them. But when the party came back they were unable to find any hint of their petrified comrades. Does it mean that they disappeared and there's no way to get them back?
Maybe I'm blind. But I looked over the whole map twice. Found a statue that could be turned to flesh, but it turned out to be some stranger by the name of Tanah. No sight of the three party members, though.
I can live without Dynaheir (dreamt to get rid of her and still have Minsc, actually) and Kivan (a sad loss), but losing Imoen is really bad for story reasons. I'm not even spelling out how ridiculous it is for story reasons that three immovable statues to have presumably walked off overnight.
I tried to summon Imoen with the CLUA console, but she won't join the party. She just sends you off, like in the beginning of the game, so it's hopeless.
Petrified party members disappeared?

Petrified NPCs should stay in the same place forever. Was the encounter where they were stoned definitely on the basilisk map or could it have been in an ambush between maps? If the latter they will still be there, but there's a certain amount of randomness about which ambush map you get when travelling. If you keep travelling backwards and forwards over the same route you will eventually trigger the same ambush map and see your statues.
A version of Imoen could be summoned by console, but you need to specify which one you want - she's available at a number of different levels, so you need to choose the code for the level you want.

It was a map on the far right, a basilisk map. I'm thinking that maybe they got shattered during the fight and I didn't notice! I had only one anti-petrification spell left, so I used a cleric to summon skeletons to occupy the basilisks, while anti-petrified Minsc helped give them a beating. Cleric and mage were staying around just observing the fight. It's possible that the statues got shattered, I guess, although I'm surprised I didn't see it. There was a moment when other creatures joined the fight and it became chaotic.
Could you please point me to some info on CLUA codes to summon Imoen's other versions? It's my very first playthrough of BG, so I'm a little confused where to find relevant information.
If you would, please also give me a hint where to find info on stuff like rep and party members. I found a guide on which of them are incompatible, but can't find information on which ones would leave thanks to the incompatible rep and when. In fact, just picked up Shar-Teel from the basilisk map out of despair, and she's evil (but a great fighter). My party's rep is heroic.
In general, I love evil characters much more, but BG1 would be too boring if you just killed everything in sight. It's like SW KOTOR where you'd miss most of quests if you took the evil route.

It's certainly likely that the statues got shattered if there was fighting going on around them.
You might want to download an editor, which you can use to change things about the game as well as find information (such as the codes for all creatures and items in your installation). If playing with the BG2 engine (BGT or EasyTutu) use Shadowkeeper. If playing vanilla BG1 use Gatekeeper (though that has considerably less functionality). Both can be found at http://www.mud-master.com/
You could try looking at Dan Simpson's walkthrough, which has quite a bit about the game basics, gameplay and what NPCs are available as well as specific walkthrough information - http://www.gamefaqs....gate/faqs/2456.
Evil NPCs will only leave your party if your reputation goes above 18.
