Will Friendship/Rivalry points from DA2 be imported?

The points from origins weren't but this seems more important. It's how certain charcters view Hawke after all.

You aren't playing as Hawke or the Warden in DA3 so there is no reason to import points. They might even do another system entirely. Also, none of those companions might even be in DA3.
To give an example, if you imported a Warden with +100 approval from Oghren into DAA, his approval was reset and he was even with the other companions. So, going from that precedent, even if we were going to play as Hawke, it might get reset anyway.

I think this would be an issue if Hawke is the protagonist but not really worth coding it if it's a new protagonist with new companions and mere cameos of former folks. It would remove the association too far for it to matter.

I know that you're not playing as Hawke in DA3 you guys, *rolls eyes* jeez. But I just thought that assuming we meet companions from DA2 they may have something to say about Hawke.

If any companions show up, you'll want to know if they were friendship or rivalry. In some cases, it influenced the character's personality significantly. I'm just worried about the Anders/Sebastion bit, that they'll be lazy and decide that a live Anders is still extremist and Sebastion is loyal to chantry/retaking starkhaven based on if you let Anders live.

I seriously doubt it as there's no reason to. If anything is said, I'm sure it will be in passing or some type of neutral comment that can fit any of the 3 Hawke personalities.

I hope we don't see any of Hawke's companions. We couldn't get proper importation of relationships from DAO to DA2, I don't want a "supposed to be dead" Anders declaring me to be a highly supportive friend when I was a verbally abusive lover.
