I think this confirms that RedJohn plays from an orbiting Soyuz capsule.

I always suspected it.

Oh my GOD. Thank you so much for sharing this. That is pure hilarity. Like someone said earlier, I just love how you teleport ranomly across the map and you just roll with it like it's no biggie. Such an awesome video.

I had a match the other day I wish I recorded because the host's computer couldn't handle it. It was mostly okay except for one thing: my typhoon. I was playing a destroyer with RoF and using typhoon with extended magazine. I was firing way too fast and the host's computer couldn't keep up with it so while I'd actually fired 30 times, only 10 bullets would get taken away. I could see them decreasing on my end but as soon as it updated from host, it went right back to only slightly less. The end result was I could fire minigun style for like 30 seconds solid. The sound on the gun stopped working because apparently it doesn't loop after finishing and they only recorded so long.

Thanks. I laughed so much!

So... is this Diamond difficulty, coping with RedJohn-level lag? ;)

Actually after my overclock my game runs 27-31 FPS out of host, when I host is 30-34 .

I don't thing it could be a "calculation" problem when the game runs quite acceptable, you could talk about calculation issues when the game runs at 8-12 FPS when I record :wizard:

You know overclocking your computer is like putting Nitros into an old Lada.

... I know it's the only way for you to play with something decent but dood! That poor computer! Thing must be tired! XD

lol it was overclocked from 2008 to 2011 @ 3.4 Ghz, then I took out the overclook because of heating, but now I require its "power" back again xD

I am glad you are able to play at 30FPS, it means you don't suffer from 'drell effect' I talked about recently. :-)

By ignored calculations I mean things like weapon shots not registering for other players and such. I have tested it with a friend who has slow pc. When I host everything is fine for him, when we switch however I get lag and glitches dispite the fact that it's the same connection.

Yes I know, but my problem doesn't seem to be my PC tho xD

xD My net is 23 Mb/s download and 3 Mb/s upload, 30 ping. Thats from 100 miles away.  I'd ask if you wanna trade but.... I like my internets too much.

And hilarious video by the way. The song just makes it all the better.

Wow.

That is half as laggy as my game with Norway a few weeks ago.

It took like 1:40 seconds for a bullet to go out of my clip after shooting the whole time with my Mattock.

Where are you? Games in Norway/Sweden/Finland should be quite smooth, even to the US/Canada. They have stupidly good internet there.

That's like my morning PUGs games... I usually cope with them by going into cover a lot to stop. But the level you got in that game would have driven me personally away...

I've had two games with RedJohn so far. He got disconnected by wave3 both times... :(

I'm in the US.

But I think he was on a boat with a wireless transmitter to Mars or something while ice fishing.

It was bad.

I have perfect connection to Sweden though. :pinched:

In my experience the laggiest games aren't because of distance to host, they're because of the host's computer.

Its the Upload-Rate that cripples his hosting-ability.

If it was good enough to hack the alien mothership in Independence Day, it should be good enough for Mass Effect 3!

Apollo 11 got to the Moon with 32kb of RAM.

edit: It appears I need to host more games for RedJohn... provided I don't get disconnected 3 times in a row like last time I played with Feneckus lol :wizard:
