With that alone, a huge part of what made DAO what it was is never gonna happen again.

I feel your pain, but there's nothing that can be done at this point to convince BioWare otherwise. It's best to just give up & accept Origins as a one hit wonder.HeriocGreyWarden wrote...
Yeah i got pretty pissed when i found out the voiced PC and dialouge wheel is coming back.
Yeah - the wheel and dialogue selection are from two different styles of games.
The wheel is from a more framed narrative cinematic adventure game - which seems to be BioWares total focus on all games going forward.
Its a damn shame, DAO was the last game before they decided on this new path. Fortunately it looks like the more traditional dialogue based experiences are getting quite a lot of interest in indie and kickstarter land.

So i use to prefer DA2 over DAO,becouse i'm a pretty young gamer(I'm 15,i guees i should't be playing dragon age at all). But now as i'm a more mature gamer(i think at least),i tried DAO again, and I'm amazed in how deep the story art and combat are while being beutifull and dark at the same time,so realistic so good,so amazing.DAO is a masterpeice i want DAO:2 now becouse i want that depth of an RPG back,It is really an RPG with hard but satisfiying combat, customisation, amazing story and hard decisions.DA2 was kind of a let's call it a 'fun game'.What do you guys want DAO:2 like game or DA2:2 like game?
DA:O was a great game, but keep in mind the team had six long years to develop the game and keep iterating on all the environments, quests, gameplay systems, etc. In contrast, the production period for DA2 was only 18-24 months, if I understand correctly.
Although I'm eagerly awaiting DA3, I was a bit glad to hear that it was delayed to Q4 2013, as they will have more time to work on the game.

That's a pretty big contrast. I'll never understand why BioWare felt they needed to rush DA2 out the door. The hard six years showed in Origins, and boy did it pay off. I don't understand why BioWare couldn't just ask EA for more time, because there's no way BioWare had the ability to craft an "Origin" quality game in only 18-24 months.naughty99 wrote...

First step of liking DA3:
- Compare it to DA2
Following these step means there is a very low chance of disappointment from DA3.
you assume things can't any worse ? while I also think DA2 was a (very bad) joke.
I assure you EA can make it a lot worse and they probably will.

DA:O - characters, gameplay, music, story, drama and horror atmosphere, skill trees, locations...
DAII - well, ah... VA of PC.... that´s all as far as I can find and also few interesting characters, aside from this also drama was well handled yet the path to dramatic parts was most of the time stupid...
Only which is atleast equal to DA:O was DLC, I would compare Shale with Legacy DLC which were both by my book best for both games.
