Also, on a more personal note; Bioware would you be open to allowing fans pick a name from a list of selections, like what you guys did regarding Femshep's appearance?

The only difficulty with multiple last names is that they'd have to voice all those lines with each name. I don't think they'd do that. It's far more likely they'll stick to the single last name and allow us to customize the first name, as in past games.
Oh no, no, no! I don't mean Bioware give us multiple last names; I meant Bioware will pick out some names that David thought up, and allow the fans to vote on their favorite. The name with the most votes then becomes the PC's surname.
That's all.

Last name should be Beezlesnarf. It'll send everyone running in terror and confusion.
Oh God, yes! It's such a nerdy sounding name I can just imagine our PC screeching "Beezlesnarf!", getting a nose bleed and puffing on their inhaler after a battle

No. Seriously, no. The BSN can't have nice things.allow the fans to vote on their favorite
I'd much prefer it if they simply reverted back to a title, instead of naming the Protagonist.

Or they could just not voice the last name. NWN managed to avoid it in its spoken lines, even though the subtitles made use of it.Kevin Lynch wrote...

Voicing the last name is entirely unnecessary. As such, forcing a fixed last name on us is entirely unnecessary.

The name needs to be gender and racial neutral, since we can of course create protagonists of different gender/race combinations, RIGHT?
That's why I didn't like Hawke: it sounded too masculine for a female character.
