Hawke always seemed more of a masculine name, and since my main character was female it never really seemed to fit. So what names do you guys think should be the main character's?
Also, on a more personal note; Bioware would you be open to allowing fans pick a name from a list of selections, like what you guys did regarding Femshep's appearance?

The only difficulty with multiple last names is that they'd have to voice all those lines with each name. I don't think they'd do that. It's far more likely they'll stick to the single last name and allow us to customize the first name, as in past games.

I'd rather be called by my title (which I'm assuming will be Inquisitor) than by my name. It allows for much more role-playing and character building potential.

The name needs to be gender and racial neutral, since we can of course create protagonists of different gender/race combinations, RIGHT?

Voicing the last name is entirely unnecessary. As such, forcing a fixed last name on us is entirely unnecessary.

That's why I didn't like Hawke: it sounded too masculine for a female character.
