That was the preferred method before they nerfed smash and Biotic slash.  Justicar bubble and a reaver set up BEs and the Manguard and a 4th guy (usually throw user) detonated them. I don't know what the newer methods are. (After about 10 runs I decided farming wasn't my thing)

I used to farm Gold until I got good enough to play it. I remember trying to play a legit Platinum match when it was first released, and I got crushed. Trying to make sure that doesn't happen again, so I'm making the transition nice and easy.

Since I'm "semi-retired" from ME3 i considered making a platinum farming video for glacier to show people how its done. Probably both ways

1) room of shame way
2) Spawn force way

Hydra/Cerberus

Way better for farming imo. Great for Platinum anything, too. The entire back hallway to the room is basically one huge choke point and the board is so large that it's great for objectives since you can easily kite away form objectives.

Cerberus/Glacier is probably still tops though. Eff FBWGG..........

I love my hallway spot (takes the most moving around to get the spawns the correct way) but i'll run balcnoy or basement as well depending on my team

You are right,it is very hard to coordinate people in public matches,but most players know tiny room tactic.
But I played Platinum/Cerberus with Bioware dev(s) and we started every wave behind yellow line and then we rushed to the basement and nuked the spawn.I think that was the fastest Platinum match I played.

It's a REALLY efficient way to do it, but bring your L3 consumables with you, because they make things so much easier (the Destroyer should use either AP3 or AP4). And with all classes with grenades, Grenade Capacity + all the way.

Of course, Upinya Slayin's method would probably work faster, but don't forget we're talking PUGs here. Coordination and strategy is a dismissable claim.

Oh no an influx of people who don't know what spawn point control means on glacier. Folks that don't know how to speed run it can push glacier into the twenty minute range because they ruin the spawns. So unless you really know what you are doing stay on white it is safer.

I usually stick to UUG myself, but for all the work I end up putting into carrying those, it just isn't worth the reward (I'm running out of Gels by now). At least in Glacier farming, people usually know what to do, and we get it done in 20-25 minutes, without even knowing each other.

But it takes 2x as long, is 4.3x more boring, and objective waves are much riskier.

Sorry that some of us just aren't as good as some of you video game elites and don't feel like spending real money on packs.

I shall join in and third this. Spawn rushing on glacier platinum is probably the fastest way. It's a shame that PUGs have no idea how to do it usually.

Glacier speedrunning actually requires your team to have some type of skill in the game. This is why FBWGP or FBWUP will be played more.
