Glacier > FBW any day of the week. The people who differ are either bad players or had 1 bad experience with noob groupmates.

Watched the video. Interested in doing this, I'm like you, I don't necessarily play to farm it, I play to see what it's like and get used to the waves. I know I will never be good enough to rambo around Platinum but this would be a cool way to at least see what it's like besides in videos.

So if anyone wants to do it with me on Xbox, gamertag is the same as my name here. Yes, I will take directions, lol. I have a lvl 20 Demolisher who would love to grenade the heck out of everything.

Most of my speedrun friends have moved on to bl2 until new dlc comes out, but if anyone wants to learn to speedrun glacier or any other map message me on here or xbl.

What did you use? Getting 20 min is not hard when I use my GI-piranha.

otherwise Rio is the easiest with just randoms. only enemies you really have to worry about are Phantoms, Primes and Banshees.

What did you use? Getting 20 min is not hard when I use my GI-piranha.

I've noticed that my best class (so far) for Platinum seems to be the Destroyer, so I mostly stick to him. Why, is that doing it wrong?

the box with the 3 grenade ammo box in it where a banshee cna't get in and OHK anyone. also 90% of the time they try to mele you through teh box and you can kill them w/o ever seeing them by shooting through the box.

ME3 is full of cheap tactics. They aen't fun to use though

If a Banshee gets in, pull out your ML, wait five seconds (so more enemies can flood in), and fire at the center. They die.

quite the opposite. with so many people in the room and one banshe people naturally focus on the banshee so too much damage is done to her for anyone to get OHK. rarely do i see a banshee finish her OHK animation in that room

Nothing is more satisfying than freaking PUBs out when yehs leave that little room. I've been called many names when I would do this. I'd kite the hell out of the enemies, raining infernos or arc grenades on the enemies then return to the room. Rotfl! People get touchy sometimes. I'd light up a joint and tell em to calm the **** down though.

With joy, my god he talked to me, he talked to me, I am so happy, I am going to print this page and put it on my wall. On topic, I did enjoy farming Glacier, only did it when I was getting used to what the hell happened on platinum, a friend did it with me a few time. With happiness, it was fun, but I prefer speed-running immensely.

Even better if you are a fury you can kite a banshee to that room and then teleport out the back.

OP doesn't do much to support his argument but he's right: glacier's panic room is waaaaay easier to turtle than white's. It takes a different sort of team (you need at least 1 AJA with warp bubble and preferably an AA specced for combos) but apart from banshees, you're never under threat.

Glacier is a much smaller map than white, which means during objective waves and extraction, it's easier to get back-and-forth from where you are to where you need to be.
