Glacier/Reapers/Plat is much faster than white but the Banshees have to be dealt with quickly.

Glacier/Cerberus/Platinum might be more efficient but is riskier to do with randoms as they are not used to that yet. And funnier than FBWGP ? Please, they both are boring as hell like every farming setup.

Ignoring the current bugs with Rio, it is a good Platinum map if you camp the LZ-end and wait for them to come to you. It is less "cheap" in my opinion than hiding in the "panic room" on Glacier.

i landed in a this type of match the other day , and it changed my thoughts about Rio for the better.  Gotta be ready tho.

Honestly, Glacier farming for Team AreleX was more about speedrunning than credits, challenging yourself to finish a match as quickly as possible has kept me more interested in ME3 then just running different maps like a normal person should. Though it is nice to know that you can get 137500 creds in ~13 minutes if need be (i.e weekend before DLC drop). Though to be honest I don't play anymore, just drop in now and then and stalk upinya's last visited thread

Indeed. I appreciate the OP's intentions, but whenever FBWG farmers come to glacier they immediately camp behind the downstairs desk - which is the best spawn point to rush.

There is a big difference between the two. Despite how much some people impugn farming, FBG actually trains you in fast CQC tactics that prep you for other engagements.

Anyway I fail to see how glacier can be funnier than white as farming games. In both cases you're standing there in the same place spamming all kind of things at the enemy and only moving to do objectives. Or maybe people think it's more fun just because they had an overdose of FBW farming before and because Glacier farming techniques were only put into the light recently so it may sound "new".

Actually the OP is right. If you do Speed Run tactics on Glacier/ Platinum/Cerberus....its quite easy and you can do it in 15 minutes or less. Regardless of vid its something speed runners know like the back of their hand. I can try and make a vid but is this something everyone really wants? If so...I'll put a group together to show it but..Yes the OP is correct at least as my opinion. Again..just my opinion.

Totally, been telling people for ages that FB giant is much better than white especially when infiltrators were good. Two up top one below and one running between the 2 when sure is needed works every time when I play.

40 minutes to farm credits is way too long, glacier and white can be done within the same time frame.Op needs to get friends who can speedrun and that will become the best method for gaining credits and making yourself look good.

Here is another video from the point of view of the guy who is forcing the spawns for everything else. A lot of things went wrong in this video but that will happen often with pugs too.

Cerberus/Jade/Platinum is the easiest/safest farm setup for me IMO.

1 Person on the low side of the bridge to block the spawn, 3 others on the opposite end of the low ground. Enemies get bottlenecked towards the 3 players and they get grenade spammed/AOE hardcore.

Person holding the bridge should be an expert shot (multiple phantoms) or use a GPS.

That wasn't what I was getting at, at all....

I was saying, yes, it's not all that fun, but at least it doesn't make you want to kill yourself in boredom QUITE as bad as WGP does. The feeling is still there, but at least it's a fair bit more diluted.

Hence... "FunnER, not fun."

I've seen more and more of Glacier lately. I've shown a few of my friends who are some what new to the game how to farm platinum with an AJ and Slayer in the small control room. It seems to be becoming the preferred method of farming even for missile glitchers.
