Dragon Age 2. Still can't believe I paid full price for that garbage. At least it helped me forget about the DA series entirely

My old 90's buick from craiglist.

You think a bad game was a bad investment? Just wait till you buy your first lemon of a car, than come crying about wanting to unspend the thousands of dollars in purchase, parts, gas, and maintenance that it took for the thing.

At least your damn games came with a recipt.

Come to think of it, there is one other thing I really regret buying, and it is game-related. Back during the DDR and Bemani craze, I'd bought a $180 DDR pad that was essentially a cheaper version of this:

It died out within 24 hours. I've stuck to arcade and cheapy DDR-pads ever since then.

Guild Wars 2.

For some reason I just can't get into it.

Just don't like the structure as it makes teaming up with people..... unnesessary.   Don't know if I can explain exactly with just text.

Plus since you can pretty much cover every field (healing, DPS, Tanking) again it's like you just go with it without really getting into it.   Again hard to explain.

The entire Mass effect Trilogy. ME3 ending still ruins the whole story for me, even after the extended cut.

I have lots of remorse over games...

-ME1, because then I wouldn't have had to endure the third game. That'll teach me to become invested in fictional universes.
-Fable 3, because it was basically Fable 2.5 with an ending comparable to ME3's that depended on a side activity I hated to bother with.
-TOR, because i pretty much got bored and paid $35 when it dropped to $7 two weeks later.
-The Witcher 2. Listening to Triss talk is torture. Her VA is horrible. That and the combat made it unplayable.
-FF13. Hallway: The Game and Hope ruined any potential it might have had. I'm usually not in the Kill A Character Because I Dislike Them crowd, but I would kill Hope in an instant to get rid of his incessant whininess.
-I also kind of regret getting a PS3. I basically paid $500 for the ability to play a handful of games. Uncharted Series, The Last Of Us, Heavy Rain, and Journey.

BATTLEFIELD 2 COMPLETE COLLECTION. FRIGGIN EA. SPENT $60 ONLY TO GET A "CD-KEY IN USE" MESSAGE EVERY TIME I TRIED TO START THE GAME, AND EA SUPPORT SIMPLY SAID I HAD *OBVIOUSLY* ILLEGALLY DOWNLOADED IT OR SOMETHING BECAUSE OTHERWISE IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN.

Yes. I hate EA with a passion. You don't just tell someone after they pay you $60 that it never happened and accuse them of stealing from you. Every time I tried to contact support they'd refuse to help me.

Too Human pre-owned for 7 Euro.

Oh my god. Possibly the ****test game i have ever played. Each chapter or level was the same layout with the same enemies over and over again.

Best comparison is the caves from Dragin Age 2 non-stop for half an hour with the same enemies appearing from the same position and with the combat used by the analog stick and whenever you die...

You will be seeing that ALOT.

Mass Effect 3.

A once great IP was destroyed for a host of reasons, including day-one dlc that should have been in the game (I payed good money!), a deus ex machina plot (Crucible), multiplayer, zero exploration, too much shooting and choices that either truly got railroaded (Udina and Rachni) or choices that didn't mean anything. Then, of course, everyone in gaming knows about the horrendous ending...one of if not the worst in the history of literature and storytelling.

It goes without saying I got ripped $60 hard earned dollars and regret I ever touched or looked at it. Ruined all of Mass Effect for me, forever, that game did.

Section 8. Totally deceptive in its description of the singleplayer mode, and the multiplayer is ass. Maybe it was better back when it first came out, I don't know, but from what I've expereinced people commonly pick all-out weapon damage, lock-on time, accuracy, and all that ****, go with a Sniper Rifle, and sit in a Jesus Spot the whole match...

"On the war-torn planets of tomorrow, Mankind's greastest battle is about to begin."
"Experience the ultimate in multiplayer combat with up to thirty-two players online and enlist for future warfare in the singleplayer Campaign."

The 'Campaign' is a ****ing two-hour tutorial for the multiplayer. LITERALLY. I am not joking about the time it takes to beat it. I might actually be overestimating the time by up to an hour. And when the multiplayer is as bad as I had it, you can't say "at least the Campaign was good."

Pinnacle station.

The raid, the list goes on further than this but there are too many things, these two were just very disappointing.

How do you all hate TW2? Personally I can't stand spending 10 minutes in every fight, pausing and playing and using the same tactics over and over again. At least in TW2 it was fast, and you could dodge, block and use special signs/abilities.

The newest Aliens VS Predator game. Being a massive fan of the Alien movies, I wanted to try out what it would be like to play a Xeno with current hardware. Alas of all the campaigns the Alien one was the shortest, and pretty badly done to boot.

The multiplayer was fun for awhile, but the novelty ran out pretty soon. Got tired of the game in half a day.

Since this turned into a VG Regret Thread, I'd have to say;

Skyrim (And not because of glitches. Deal With It)

Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword (The Best 3D Zelda Game? More like Most Recent)

Kingdoms Of Amalur (Not because it was a bad game, but because it caused me to get invested in a well crafted universe that is now ****ING DEAD THANKS TO RHODE ISLAND)

Previous computer system: refurbished parts in a lemon from an on-line supplier, received only a partial refund, and added to the overall stereotype of small-print swindlers.

Video games: Hillsfar in the old Gold Box format. That stupid prancing pony and arcade format made this the most disappointing game purchase in my CRPG folder.

I got a .44 magnum for my first handgun. Probably not the best choice lol.

And of course, DA2.

Why is everyone's regrets video games?

Am I the only person who lost big money on something that wasn't a ****ing returnable game?

Am I really that unlucky?

I'm sure there's something...hmmm...
To be honest, I don't think I have something that I said "I wish I didn't spend money on that". Unless we're counting "mehs" then that's a different story.
