I wasn't aware the DA series had comics. Do they also have novels like the ME series? Might be interested
in picking them up...
They do. The Stolen Throne, The Calling and Asunder. All by Gaider. I enjoyed them more than the ME books.
Note: I did not touch Deception with a 10 ft pole, and this still holds true for me.

Gaider has done three. The Stolen Throne and The Calling are basically Maric shenanigans, and Asunder that is Wynne and Shale having a road trip.

Three novels (chronologically): The Stolen Throne covering Maric's rebellion, The Calling introducing the Architect and Asunder, covering the outbreak of the Mage-Templar War and the seperation of the Templars from the Chantry.
Two comic arcs which are part of the same series: The Silent Grove and Those Who Speak. There will be a third and final installment in the series called Until We Sleep.

Would not be surprised if someone decided to have mercy and let him go just before the horde overran lothering.

Hmm....how about instead of leaving him for dead I was just, say, testing his survival skills?

You fool. Danal saw Sten was a worthy man and used his bartendering prowess to pick the lock and then fight their way through the hordes of darkspawn together.
