I think so. Tallis I believe also falls somewhere under the jurisdiction of the Ariqun, strangely enough.R2s Muse wrote...

Only one Arishok at a time, yes. He is the military leader, and one third of the triumvirate that basically controls every aspect of the Qunari society. The other two positions I believe are Arigena, who governs agriculture and crafting disciplines, and the Ariqun, who handles all religious and philosophical matters.R2s Muse wrote...
Can someone tell me... is there only one Arishok in all of Qunari-dom? Is he like THE General, or a step down?
I think either the Arigena or Ariqun is always female, but I forget which.
Cool. Thanks. Just can't seem to keep the Qunari lore in my head. I blame Sten and my inability to ever even remotely understand him or his logic.
So, are the Tamassrans part of the Ariqun branch?

SPOILER WARNING
I was shocked that Alistair killed the Witch. I hope Morrigan isn't too pissed when she finds out.
Besides, I'm not sure I'm liking where the plot is heading, with the blood of Calenhad tied to the return of the Dragons.
I don't know if it was discussed before in the novels (I haven't read them) but let's see what happens with that.
END OF SPOILER
The Witch ain't dead. Hopfully, cerial she was cool and interesting. What I don't get why Alistair DIDN'T take her offer, I lost what little respect I had for the man when he was so childish and just dumb and ungreatfull, she did save your life ****, last time a witch did that she helped you save a kingdom, fine don't do the ritual, but say "I goning to find my Father. If you want our blood then come help.

Why would Morrigan care if her sister is dead? I'm sure she'll laugh first.

So, Sten is now the new Arishok. I have to say the Warden sure does have very powerful friends.
