I can't really give you an answer if I don't know the question.

sorrry my friend, re read my post an realised how inadequate it was, what i mean is basically the game is confusing me on blood mages, it seems central to everything yet if i go a blood mage nothing happens, an even if i dont choose that path practically every mage i meet in game becomes said blood mage killing everything on site, if i choose the mage side where is the "good mage" im supposed to be protecting (apart from my sister if i choose that route) is the game forcing me to choose templar?? is hat the stopry im supposed to take? its just this blood mage story is hell of cunfusing to me, or am i taking it to deep an to far?

DA2 suffers from a total seperation of gameplay and story elements. There are no repurcussions to being a blood mage and your specialization has no impact on any quests. For instance, a warrior Hawke who uses templar abilities can support the mages all he/she wants — that's what I did.

Your goal in the game isn't just to help mages or templars, although that's a pretty big part of the game. In Act 1, your purpose is to gather money for an expedition that will make you rich and get your family out of the slums, so you should be focused on trying to raise money.

As far as game lore goes, blood magic is simply using the inherant power with living blood to power your spells, instead of lyrium. That's all. It is not objectively 'good' or 'bad'. Merril, Jowan and arguably even Morrigan show us that blood mages are not all insane pantomime villains.

The chantry does demonise blood magic and expressly forbids its use. A chantry supporter might say that it's for the mages' own good, as blood magic is mortally dangerous to whoever is supplying the blood, and makes a mage more suseptible to becoming an abomination (don't know if this is actually true, mind). A chantry sceptic could argue that the chantry just wants to control the mages, and they control the lyrium trade.

For a mage who wants to go apostate, blood magic is presumably tempting simply because it represents freedom from the need for lyrium. Thus the evil apostate - blood mage link is reinforced.

This is how blood magic stood for DA:O. It should, in theory stand like this in DA2 as well, but the sheer number of mages who turned out to be both blood mages and moustache-twirling, crazy villains does seem to reinforce the false assumption of it being an 'evil' magic.

Also, the mages you are siding with at the end (if you choose to) are the innocent mages of the Kirkwall Circle, who you hardly ever see or interact with. You only really interact with the 'evil' blood mage abominations. Another oversight on the DA2 developers' part.
