1. Recycled environments.
It was absurdly overused in DA2, whole game was spent in literally 6-7 locations. Every mansion was copy of the first one.

2. Waves of enemies.

It's lazy, it's boring and it breaks immersion. You kill wave of trash mobs only to see how another wave appears from nowhere.

3. Lame sidequests.
DA2 sidequests were particularly horrible, you found something quest-related, you saw marker on the map and handed it to some random guy - great, you just finished a quest!
ME3 sidequests were bad too, you just heard various conversations, you got update in the awful quest log, then you scanned planets in the hope that it would get you needed.

4. Mass Efect style dialogue wheel.
Is it wrong to want a classic dialogue, when you actually see what your protagonist's going to say?

5. Day 1 DLC.
Enough said.

My biggest issue is recycled environments. I was ok with almost all of DA2 outside of that.

2. DA:O's combat.

3. Old companions in my party.

4. Tallis in any form.

5. I guess the recycled environments were kinda lame.

1) (unkillable) Tallis
2) (unopposable) Qunari
3) Some ancient evil rising to threaten everyone
4) Sidequests, unless there's a damn good reason to do them
5) Mmo-style or self-proclaimed "oldschool" combat

1. I would prefer NOT to have polarizing characters as plot companions. IE you can not get rid of them. I would prefer to be able to pick and choose who was an was not my companions. Heck I would like it if they could decide NOT to be my companion as well based on my in game choices.

2. Lack of Consequences for your choices/actions. Mage casting fireballs in the gallows with no one saying anything? REALLY? Companions should leave if you use blood magic (if they believe it is evil), you should not be able to turn someone like WYNNE into a blood mage, etc. If I befriend the templars, mages should hate me but templars should not attack me on sight, same if I befriend mages the should not go batcrap crazy and turn to blood magic attacking me on sight, that is the templar's job.

3. Extreme disconnect between lore and game play. IS Blood magic evil or just a good way to have mana? Do you need Lyrium to use Templar skills or not? Do you get addicted to Lyrium or not? etc.

4. If time passes things should CHANGE! Entire wards should look different, towns grow or shrink or become abandoned, etc.

5. It is okay to have the companions be PC-Sexual, but can we make it HARDER to initiate a romance? And if someone hits on you can there be a NON-jerk way to say no?

Yeah, I'm fed up with unknown guest "stars" in Bioware games. Diana Allers was hilariously bad too

It's almost guaranteed that we would have mage-templar conflict. And non-existence of ancient evil didn't make DA2 any better.

This was executed excellently in BG2 with use of magic within Amn. How many years before? Go figure. And in Fallout 2.

Replacing the archdemon with the mage/templar conflict most certainly improved the game (though getting the arishok for loghain was a pretty bad trade).

And I do recall reading something about some demon-portal in the leak. And saving the world from some mindless pure-black ancient evil got stale when tolkien did it.

1. My Warden
2. My Hawke.
3. Possibly dead characters resurrected for whatever reason (this does not apply to Leliana, Andraste took care of that if your Warden was heartless enough to attack her)
4. Anders. Let the ruling of the murder knife stand!
5. Unequip-able clothing during camp/Home scenes, inability to customize party members, etc.

It matters how it's done, not what is done. We spend more time fighting Logain than Archdemon arguably. Also Arishok was one good character in entire DA2 up until he went mental and gone on killing streak.

Imho, no. The imagination is a powerful tool - and while the mage/templar conflict certainly could have been done a lot better (see my signature), it's an interesting conflict because both sides sort of have a point, and I could easily see myself taking either side depending on situation. Such a conflict has some tragic weight to it, especially when circumstance makes peaceful solutions impossible.
Now the archdemon didn't even have a point to reason with, and for a qunari, being beyond the reach of reason is part of the job requirenment, so they're way less interesting adversaries - because I can butcher them without feeling bad about it, essentially. That's not how conflict should work.

Mage vs Templars conflict was actually brillliant opportunity to show war between two shades of grey. It's failed. All mages are blood mages, they ALWAYS use it when cornered. Even damned Orsino. When in Origins we saw many mage fractions, in DA2 they're all blood mages. They even kill Trask.
While templars are all fanatics and sadists except Cullen, who is one good templar. He was ironically the worst templar in Origins. It says a lot about Kirkwall and DA2.

Anyway, it's just matter of talent - you can make excellent game with both black and white conflict or with modern shades of grey.

Good point. Something like what was done with Kaidan in ME3 was distasteful.
