There has certainly been less hate since the EC came out. About 50/50 of people liking it,and hating it, compared to about 80/20 before.
People who still like the game are still here, people who stopped liking the game ( mostly because of the nuttcracker ending) are not visiting regularly anymore... that's why your alledged 80/20 turned to 50/50.
It makes no sense for them to be making a new Mass Effect...they failed so miserably that I lost confidence in the fact they can make a solid game
SW:TOR and DA2 are indeed other reasons why Bioware should reconsider their choices, but not unlike many other big ( mostly american) companies...they are polluted with so called yes man, these people nod and wink at everything some suit in the board room says without any thought other then getting as high up as possible that they forget why and how they are making their money....by making high quality games.
If they keep this up I foresee a closure of Bioware

because a lot of people that didn't like the game and ending have moved on to other, better games.

Things will not change regardless of leadership, have you ever heard a company CEO firing himself to better the company?
Thing isin the beginning when a company is young and still want to achieve something they are in their prime, then they grow get some investors and over time they stop thinking towards he customer instead they focus on what the investor expects...

So back to main question again, do people still hate endings as much as they did back in few weeks after launch, did EC reduce the hate or everyone just live with it and move on?

But my hatred for this game has only increased with the passage of time. If I could go back in time and tell myself not to ever play it I would.
This game is the equivalent of bad sex Bioware/EA got what they wanted, rolled over and went to sleep.
I'm left over here all worked up and frustrated over the completely unsatisfying ending and this has poisoned the entire relationship. Worst of all though, I can't wake them up and make them finish the job right because this is where the metaphor ends.
LAME!

Synthesis? Sure, it's as space magic as ever. But the concept behind the Catalyst is nothing new for sci-fi. Asimov's work in particularxsamplexample wrote...
yes. the only people that actually like the endings are people that dont know sci-fi. Like the devs.

Gotta love people who go like "I'm angry! So let me get this on tape and put it on youtube!"
Kid literally pauses his rage so he can record it.

Hell, Synthesis itself is not that much wackier than the ending of The Rise of Endymion. Bio should have ripped that off even more.

You probably didn't pay $60 for that Dr. Who episode like most people did for ME3. Most people don't care too much when something that cost the little or no money to obtain sucks but they tend to be quite upset when something they paid a good bit of money for sucks.
