Because many people is assuming we'll start as a full inquisitor with power, resources and contacts.
How much status will we have at the start of the game?
I guess we are going to start as a new Inquisition recruit (assuming that's even possible, because it sounds as if an Inquisitor is an already high rank and a title that lower individuals in the chain of command won't share) and start climbing and gathering power and connections.
But it will maybe be weird to start with an iron sword and leather helmet given you are already an Inquisitor.
Or may it be that we do not become an Inquisitor after much later in the game? Maybe there's like 15 hours of gameplay which lead to our joining of the inquisitors.
Will we start the game as an Inquisitor or does that happen later?

I think the game will start with Cassandra drafting me.
Likely she'll do so by poison me ninja scroll style.

The leaked description seems to imply that we do, but we don't know how reliable that is, and it's basically a marketing blurb anyway, and marketing blurbs aren't super reliable.
It seems Bioware usually wants to put the player in a position of independent authority, rather than leaving you taking orders the whole time.
My guess would be that we'll become an inquisitor after the prologue, and probably be allowed to operate fairly freely in pursuing our investigations, but not necessily the chief Inquisitor
