Can this be done? I'm used to having biotics for noveria, particularly for that security chief. I'm usually at a level 10 or so before I even get out of the citidel having done most all of the sidequests but I put a lot into decryption for Kaidan who is my main run character to get possible upgrades without buying them, though I've noticed you generally get only the level you're at so it's kind of a waste. I'm wondering with the low level guns and minimal biotics if facing the noveria biotic AND matriarch benezia is a nightmare? I always go to noveria last on my first runthrough, but was thinking of trying it differently. Thoughts?

you don't need to buy anything, youll get everything you need by killing (press i when inventory appears on screen)
or from looting

only time you need an high decryption is 1 computer (youll get the mission later anyway) or high electronics to kill the racnhi in the transit station(just order mira to open it and kill them anyway)

to cope with Benezia/synthetic insights , just put physics upgrades in your armour to protect against her and her comandos biotic attacks

I've played the plot missions in all different orders, and in my experience *every* mission is significantly more difficult at low level. On low-level Noveria my major problem was the rachni. (It was the husks on low-level Feros and the ambush on low-level Therum, FYI.)

Overload and Lift will make the security fight much easier, and even very low-level versions will work on human-sized enemies. Benezia's fight is one of the very few where changing the difficulty setting actually made the fight noticeably more or less difficult: on the higher settings she tosses biotic attacks like confetti at a parade, whereas on the lower settings she mostly stands around looking pretty.

I usually do Therum and then Noveria, and I agree with BurningBlood that, while they are all doable at lower levels, they are all more difficult no matter which you choose to do first since they each have their "Hard" fight.

As far as Decryption/Electronics level goes, with a bit of planning and manual leveling of skill points,I can usually have a squad member or two (or Shepard, depending on class and/or if I took Electronics as a bonus power or not) leveled up to "Master" in each by the time I leave the Citadel for the first time.

You can add more to your level by doing as many sidequests as you can (the ones not contingent on a Charm/Intimidate rank, if you play that way. The last time I did Noveria first, was with my level fifty-something Adept.

I've heard that doing it at level nine and below make it pretty hard to complete. Also try to stay out of Benezia's direct line of fire, so you only have her lackeys tossing biotics at you. I suggest trying to get to level fifteen by side quest-ing it and then hitting Noveria as your first world.

This is good advice. I've found that going to the catwalk behind her, and thus breaking her line of sight to you, is the best way to handle the battle.

I beated Noveria with a level ~13-15 Infiltrator. The Benezia, Rachni fight was easy, but at the Peek 15 garage the Geth and 2 Krogan... But answering for the OP post: yes, Noveria is the easiest main mission. Therum kina nightmare with most of the classes until you reach level 27-30. Just because the final Krogan Battlemaster.

I'm usually farming XP in the Citadel, finish every side missions. Most of them non-combat type.
