I want the whole stargazer scene to be a hint. Like Shepard is not really the commander's surname, but a title the future gave to him. Also, the main character to be the kid when he grows up, and he mentions stories (you guys choose canon on how the original trilogy ended how the Geth/Quarian conflict ended, Genophage, etc. we choose small things) that have slight variation on dialogue depending on how our imported Shep acted, relationships, etc.
Also, I am hoping we can see the future of current races, especially Turians and Quarians(assuming they made peace with the Geth) and Vorcha (Slightly more evolved)
Maybe hint at a Javik and Aria Asari baby (I could see it)
Then a new galaxy, new race, and a new big bad.

More effort spent on building a coherent, believable, meaningful storyline.
Less Sexification. EDI, Chobot, and the like.
(Won't likely be added, but) bringing back vehicle-based exploration in one form or another. Time should be spent on finding a more promising vehicle than the Mako or Hammerhead.

TBH, I'm up for anything at this point. As long as the ending doesn't make me cry, need therapy, or make me cuss worse than a drunken sailor. What would cause me to do that? Load up your saved game at the end of ME3. Play to scene running toward white beam on Earth. Most everything after that point is ... questionable.

Most notably, they said it would be an ending to Shepard's story. A cliffhanger is not an ending. It's really simple.

He/she prolly died from his/her wounds shortly after. Just because BioWare was too chicken to fully commit to the fact that Shepard died, does not mean that wasn't Shepard's final breath. Regardless, they've said "Shepard's story is done," so they are likely looking to explore other things that they couldn't poke around with under the current story.
