This heads-up is to inform others of an effort underway to backup the entirety of the Vault while it is still possible. Rolo Kipp, one of the last administrators of the Vault, has become convinced that it's in serious trouble, and that drastic action is necessary.

I've mostly been putting things on the Nexus site, but a while back I decided to post a copy of something to the Vault as well. It's still pending acceptance nearly two weeks later.
I won't be mourning the loss of the Vault website - provided the content is saved of course.

It seems they've finally realized doing it manually is a bad idea. Figuring out how to scrape things properly is still going to be way faster than doing it manually.

It might be an idea for the vault to send an email to everybody with submissions and warn them to salvage what they can just in case the whole lot collapses.
The vault holds an amazing ammount of hours work and content and if something goes horribly wrong it would be terrible to lose the lot.
