I must've played through ME1 and 2 a dozen times each before ME3 came out in March. I played through ME3 twice. Although ME1 was my absolute fave of the series, I just don't have the heart to pick it up ever again. Image IPB

I'd love to, but I've started ME1 5 times in the last 2 days... I just can't bare the awful gameplay D:

I uninstalled the game a while ago. No amount of DLC will change my opinion of mass effect 3. The only one I am playing again is Mass effect 1.

That's a damn shame, because I believe these DLCs are really setting the game on the right track.

To each his own, I guess.

i replayed the series and finished a week ago.

i went to import my save file that i made in ME1, from ME2 to ME3 and low and behold.....face import is still broken.
in that instant i lost all desire for the series. A glitch that has been out since launch, 2 updates claiming to have fixed it.
nope stil broken.

thanks for being on top of your game bioware!

I've tried but I honestly can't. It's not because of the endings but the story's over. Kind of like how I could play Origins over and over knowing there was an import feature and wondering how things would carry over. Then DA2 comes out and it's a new protagonist and we're told every game's going to have a new protagonist. Or how I can read the books of a series over and over until the series ends and then I just stop.

The stories are over and I just can't bring myself to get interested in them again. Even trying to go through Origins to set up a Human Mage playthrough and run that through DA2 with a Mage just to see how that pans out is an absolute chore right now.

I'm in a similar place to Darklight - I've got a savegame about 2/3rds through ME3 - I'm keeping it there until the completion of the DLC ... if when its all out - the total sum of it all looks good - I'll go on a spending spree and buy the lot.

I will as soon as I get all my clips converted. I just played with a MaleShep for the first time a short while ago and I think I will play with him the ME1 and ME2 - but only those - out of interest and for the vast amount of new clips. More material to use.

Just finished ME1 doing a few different things. Started that character in ME2 and realized that I haven't gotten the insanity achievement yet. Working on that with a higher level Infiltrator femshep. It's HARD! Tried to do Gei Hinnom (at about 1/3rd completion) and keep getting killed no matter who I take with me. Not sure I'll finish this playthrough since getting killed 20 times (or more) on one mission isn't much fun. When I'm done (either giving up or completing), I'll do my new Shepard on ME2 and import to ME3. If anyone has tips, I'd appreciate it!

Tip? Don't give up. Mass Effect 2 is REALLY HARD on Insanity, well actually three missions are difficult. I used an adept so I can't tell for an Infiltrator. I did the Insanity achievement for ME1 not long ago, it wasn't so difficult (rushed through the game ^^).

Actually I am not joking. I've always been more of the "personal choices" rather than game changing ones, although I would love if they were there more often.

Yep. I started replaying ME1 yesterday. Going to do a human-centric Shepard. He's good to his crew but God help his enemies.

Just completed Horizon. I remember hating the VS reunion when ME2 first launched, in retrospect I can now say I understand why they're angry, but I just wish Shepard's dialogue wasn't quite as derpy. Something to reassure the VS that they're as altruistic as ever, rather than "sorry I was dead lol".

I might replay 1 and 2 if I can force myself to headcanon that the Reaper threat is resolved with the destruction of the Collectors and that the third game never happened.

Getting ready to start ME3 on my Garrusmance playthrough.

Next one will be 1 and 2 only because I'm doing it for an AU.

After that I might finally buckle down and play mShep.

Yeah did a recent playthrough of the trilogy with a vangard want to do a renegade run with an infiltrator but life's gotten a bit complicated lately and havn't had as much time for video games let alone the commitment it takes to do a trilogy run.

Depends

Wrex, Grunt & Zaeed are recruitable Squad Mates. ME3 isn't the same without them

Will admit the Normandy doesn't feel the same without a krogan
