Tutorial: How to replace head morph of ANY NPC

1. Open Toolset

2. Click the "Creatures" Button on the top right Palette Window

3. In the filter type the name of the NPC, example Bella or Desire or Murdock.

4. You'll see some folders appear.  Navigate through them and find the NPC object:

Example: ntb100cr_gheyna (Gheyna)

5.  Now left click that creature to highlight it.

6. On the bottom right the object inspector window appears full of information.

7. Scroll down the list until you see head morph, under appearance.  Note the name of that file.

8. Rename the new morph file you exported to the name in the object inspector.

9. Now place your new morph:

packages/core/override

Make sure you restart dragon age.

* Open Toolset, the Single Player module
* in the palette Window switch to "creature", enter "gheyna" into search field, that'll narrow selection to single character. Double click to open.
* scroll down the list of attributes for Gheyna until you find...
"Head Morph: ef_ntb100_gheyna.mor"

LOL I had just found that and retyped my post.

You beat me to it :P

You wouldn't happen to know how to edit quest completion text would you? For the single player campaign?

Hmm, I have an issue. I can't change the name of the original mor file to my custom morph. I made a new face for Sten. The information in the object inspector is all greyed out. I right clicked gen00fl_sten and selected Check Out so it isn't read-only, but the information in the object inspector is still grey and can't be changed. Also, when I View Resource the information on the left, which is the same in the object inspector, it is NOT greyed out, but when I double click the Head Morph info it won't let me change it. I will type, but it remains the original qm_genfl_sten.mor. Any help would be much appreciated.
