Obviously some people are just very spiteful, and wish to see Bioware hurt because of their choices around ME3. Personally I dont wish to see any harm come to the company nor do I wish anything bad against the people who work with Bioware... But I do view them as a completely different company then I did a couple years ago. Its like going from the old FF's to the new ones... sure it still has the FF name, but it may as well be called something else to those who remember the originals.

There's nothing wrong with not liking Bioware.

It's the complete insanity of some of these people that worries me. Chris comes in here with an innocent comment and the masses create a ****storm over it.

I would ask, why buy ANY game then if you can just watch them on Youtube honestly, especially if you;re going to complain about it.   If that were the case I could use Youtube as my reasoning for not liking or buying skyrim :P

besides i never recall any ME game NOT being linear, these aren't open world sandbox games ya know.

erm because some content is worth playing not watching? LOTSB worth buying > Any ME3 content youtube, i much prefer back in the day when Expansion packs meant something, now were paying £10 for a 2 hour action mode non rpg, but wait buy these weapons aswell......

Theres linear and then theres Action mode in an RPG

Leviathan is easily the longest DLC bioware has made, around 3hrs to 4hrs, ON action mode. At least get it right

3-4 hours means nothing when ive seen it done in half that....and the longest bioware has made is debatable

Are you telling me that you watched the whole DLC on YouTube? Why did you do that if you thought it was not good?

If you watched only part of it then you can not judge the DLC.

Well cleverclogs i watched it because i dont deem it worthy of its price and it is mediocre just like ME3.

Well if you feel that way i SINCERELY hope you didnt by any DLC for ME2 or ME1 for that matter... then you'd be contradicting your point.

and yes expansion packs used to mean something, they still do, but its more profitable for companies now to release said expansions in small chunks rather than large 40-50 xpacs it would seem.

but you cant honestly sit there and say Leviathan isnt worth buying and LOTSB (or overlord, etc) is when they function nearly identicaly to each other.  Oh wait, right, since Leviathan doesnt change the endings one doesnt like then it must be bad, forgot about that little caveat.

As for action mode, then you must be against people skipping dialogue too... which I'm guilty of especially after 3 or 4  playthroughs and I know the conversations like the back of my hand.

dont be condescending as it makes u sound snobbish.

Profit for companies doesnt necassarily mean good products/content now does it......

wait u mention the endings not me and for that im out...

Dude, it's an internet discussion board about a science-fiction franchise. Irrational hyperbole and contentious grandstanding under the cloak of anonymity is unavoidable---not excusable, mind you, but unavoidable.

Clark,
Wasn't trying to be condescending in the least, only that if one makes a claim i hope they truly back it up whether than use it or not when the argument suits them.

No profit doesnt mean good products/content, but to boil everything down to a cash grab... well you practically described 98% of everything made. On the flipside profit doesnt mean everything will be bad either. Companies have existed for years making profit on things people like and dont like in kind. Its not exactly good or bad. It just is.

I dont understand your problem, do u have a problem with me not buying Leviathan and because i watched it and based my opinion of that? same content u know....whether i played or watched it.

And please stop implying again, i never used words like cash grab did i? just like i didnt mention nothing regarding the endings

my original point is about leviathan being mediocre and not worth its price, and that i miss days when expansion packs were 20+hrs and worthy of money

i dont mind agreeing to disagree

I haven't spend even a penny on Bioware after the **** of the ME franchise and watched this on YouTube.
The thing is, is that the ending is so absolutely terrible and overshadowing that it ruins everything I do in the game.
ME1 made me want more, ME2 was not as good but entertaining nonetheless and I bought every DLC that came out when I finished ME3 I was first outraged about the stupidity of the game, the writers and everything ME after a while it was indifference and now I find myself not understanding why people like this and keep supporting the game and the business that made it when after all that has transpired ( the lying, first day DLC, horrible ending and lots more I guess) they still continue to do so....

It does not matter whether you hate the ending, hate the game or hate Leviathan DLC or whether you personally hope sold badly. The comment from Chris lets people who like it know that it was successful, did make a lot and they will continue to produce more DLC of that caliber in future. Those who want more and enjoy the game plus DLC like it. For those of us who are not bitter and angry, we are glad that was selling and sold well so we can have more of what we enjoyed.

LOL, I don't want the bussines of Bioware to fail I just want that they see that they have failed and yes I understand different people have different opinions, I just don't get why people with half a brain still buy content for a game that has failed to deliver on its promises on the verge of lying.
It's not griping by the way.... I 'm just one of those people who can't say it's a lovely day when it's pouring outside and get annoyed by people who say the sun shines somewhere beyond the clouds and are looking for a mere glimpse of sunlight to prove to me that it is a sunny day after all.

Don't really see how other people buying something bothers you. You always have the option of getting over something you hate and don't want to support, after 8 months, and not getting worked up over something that makes no difference to your life.

You might have to run that analogy by me again later, but my statment wasnt about you're complaining. Thats expected a month or two after release, but 8 months? i think its time to just throw your hands up and move on. They are not gonna see they have failed mainly cause they didnt. If Leviathan truely is thier best selling DLC to date like they said, then plenty of people are still in board with what they're doing.
