LOL, I don't want the bussines of Bioware to
fail I just want that they see that they have failed and yes I
understand different people have different opinions, I just don't get
why people with half a brain still buy content for a game that has
failed to deliver on its promises on the verge of lying.
It's not
griping by the way.... I 'm just one of those people who can't say it's a
lovely day when it's pouring outside and get annoyed by people who say
the sun shines somewhere beyond the clouds and are looking for a mere
glimpse of sunlight to prove to me that it is a sunny day after all.

I didn't feel lied to. I enjoyed seeing the 100+ hours journey coming to a full close, with such emotional story arcs as the Genophage, Geth / Quarian-conflict, awesome squadmate interactions (drunk Tali, Mordin and Eve, Garrus' favorite place on the citadel, Garrus and Joker exchanging jokes), great missions (Grissom Academy, Thessia, Grunt's squad). All that was in no way "bad" writing or storytelling, quite the opposite. You can't tell me you didn't enjoy some of it as well.

Of course I wasn't totally satisfied with the ending, but that got rectified with the EC. And I still enjoy furthering these stories through DLCs because ME3 didn't fail to deliver in the first place for me. Is that so hard to understand?

Thats expected a month or two after release, but 8 months? i think its time to just throw your hands up and move on. They are not gonna see they have failed mainly cause they didnt. If Leviathan truely is thier best selling DLC to date like they said, then plenty of people are still in board with what they're doing.

Perhaps because ME was great enough that they still care and still wish that it had been treated better? The fact that they managed to get people to care enough about it that they are still here is a sign of how badly they've screwed up. Doing well enough to attract that sort of fanbase isn't the sort of thing anyone would want to screw up, and it takes a twisted genius to do it.

Don't really see how other people buying something bothers you. You always have the option of getting over something you hate and don't want to support, after 8 months, and not getting worked up over something that makes no difference to your life.

Well it doesn't affect my life in a direct way, but it could be that it will affect my life in the future so that at some point you get a half finished game for which you have to pay the developer to properly finish it.
But the same could be said about you to, why can't you get over the fact that there are people who dislike the game and voice their opinion on the forum once in a while... so stop getting worked up over the fact that I have a different opinion ...you always have the option of getting over something you hate ;)

oh please, you really think people who come on this forum hate ME? or is it because they dont agree with you so there haters........yep omega will be great on youtube

You've obviously haven't been around long enough then, I;ve seen plenty of posts were people call Bioware to shut down because they didnt like ME3... amazing I know.  That to me speaks volumes, thats more than disagreement thats just petty whining.  "I dont like something so they should go out of business" is just a silly mentality.

Now all people who dislike ME3 aren't in that same boat, obviously thats just the more extreme.  Personally I'm fine with people disliking ME3, just as I was with ME1 and ME2.  The thing that amazes me at times is the AMOUNT of vitriol that comes from some people months and years later still.  Even in the old ME2 forums it was like that up until ME3 was released so we'll never be rid of it obviously but at some point one has to conciously decide to continue to loathe something enough to frequent its boards, which in and of itself can be a bit silly, but different strokes for different folks.

personally I only tend to forums on things I enjoy or actively play for the most part (Like MMOs, Borderlands 2, and so forth).

Even if you claim to dislike ME3, you have to have at least some involvement to even go far enough to watch DLC on youtube, Though I do have to wonder about complaints from people who haven't spent money on DLC to t hose that do, that seems a bit silly to me as well.  But once again different strokes.

yeah but you could say the same for 90% of the games out there in your paragraph.  Just because I watched something on youtube doesnt grant me some magical insight into how it plays etc.

Granted if i just youtubed half the games I wanted to play i COULD save a lot of money....

no matter how you cut it, youtubing something isnt the same as playing it, I'd take actually playing something over youtubing it anyday.  I can see it comes in handy for something you yourself dont want to play however.  But then as I said, you could use that same argument for almost every game out there heck you could apply it to a majority of the ME series if you REALLY wanted to.  So why play anything at all?

look i dont care what " others " want............i never once said about bioware going under...so really is pointless saying all that to me as believe it or not were all fans of ME.

and your last bit is snobbish, so i didnt spend money on leviathan so that means i cant judge it even tho i watched it? so me buying it now will enable me to then criticize it? but the whole reason i havent bought it is because i didnt like what i saw........hence me not buying?

Yes it did. It's part of the story I shaped in 3 games and how it ended. I don't need fluffy rainbows and happy blue children's faces to know hat.

To be honest I just think your upset that your 'hold the wallet' is having little to no effect going by what Chris has said about it selling well.

You don't dislike just the game as clearly shown in this thread you actually dislike the fact others did enjoy it.

I dislike the game because it lacked quality, I have no exact opinion on each individual who did like it ... I just wonder who these people are, maybe I can sell them a car withhout wheels or an engine, because that's what ME3 is

you couldnt be anymore wrong, you do realise leviathan was the same regardless of what shepard went through it? same conversation, vega appearing, same wave of reapers,  its the same so no matter if i played or watched it................it was the same so judging it is the same.

So, your Shepard looked exactly like the guy who youtubed it, had the same LI as you, took the same squadmates with him, took the same weapons as you'd have, made the same decisions and turns. Its part of getting immersed in a game. And for that you have to actually play it. But yeah, you go ahead and judge every game by a youtube video, because, it's always the same, right?

No, but in the end it doesn't matter who you choose to be your LI, what your choices were or whatever you did basically I think that's more of his point tbh

exactly, i think them defending it clouds there judgement. There is no difference in me playing Leviathan than watching it ,hence me not purchasing it, its not unique...its the same for all. Vega appears, same convo with leviathan, same everything.

look i dont care what " others " want............i never once said about bioware going under...so really is pointless saying all that to me as believe it or not were all fans of ME.

and your last bit is snobbish, so i didnt spend money on leviathan so that means i cant judge it even tho i watched it? so me buying it now will enable me to then criticize it? but the whole reason i havent bought it is because i didnt like what i saw........hence me not buying?

How is it coming off as snobbish? If it is I apologize, complaints are fine, but I'm saying those that DONT buy it have no right to gainsay those that do for doing so.  Criticizing it is fine, criticism helps things get better, but baseless attacks on those that DO like the DLC is just silly, especially coming from those that, well have no input on it basically.

As you yourself put it everything in the DLC is the same, thus you didn't buy it.  Then I hope you stick to your values and dont buy any games or DLC for other games that is the same regardless of what goes on (LOTSB, Overlord, etc), otherwise your argument is really silly and based solely on the fact that you're trying to discredit ME3 for it
