Iam speaking along the lines of gamers that are not into 100 hours games are the ones replacing the long timers that have left. I mentioned PS3 because most of its gamers are not as well known with the series as Xboxers and PCers.

The ending debate has nothing to do with consoles, there are people on both sides of the argument regardless of platform.

I know that its not "ALL" about the consoles, but it is still the same.

Well, this thread devolved pretty quickly.

Why ask for answers when you're just going to scream "LIES" at anything they say?

No, you've just made yourself look silly.

All of those things were stated by corporations at the time and were later proved to be complete liars.

You are very ignorant to what I said. I said out of the two people, the one who actually has the data is more believable than a disgruntled fan with no access to such. Now if the disgruntled fan can prove his statement backed up with actual sales data which I said I would take Chris's word over his.

And you are very ignorant to what I said. I don't have numbers, no one does until Bioware releases it. But I don't need hard numbers. By sheer reception, events, Bioware's previous reactions to mediocre DLC sales, statements and actions with their own employees to the suggestion Leviathan might not sell well you can put two and two together.

If you can't that's more your problem than mine.

Not at all, I said if you ever come up with such proof then show it and I will believe you, until that time I will take Chris's word over yours. No point in throwing a tantrum about it. If you don't have the sales data as evidence then why are you and couple others whining about me not believing you over Chris. When you have proof show it and I will believe you, until that time I don't.

Are we whining about you not believing us? Or are you ****ing about us not believing Chris?

Am I throwing a tantrum? Or am I responding in a manner beffiting to the level of discussion you bring to the table?

Does Chris have the sales data? Has he seen it first hand? Perhaps he has. Perhaps he hasn't. Perhaps he just decided to state the truth or state his wishful thinking?

Do you know for certain

I know he has more access to it then you do. He can make a comment based on actual sales data, you can't.

Hmmm???Ya lost me, what self selection problem. A little confused:?

It's a research problem. Since the poll requires positive action by the subject -- as opposed to, say, a telephone survey where the person surveyed doesn't know what the call is until he answers it -- the responding population isn't necessarily the same as the non-responding population.

The phone survey still has the problem too, of course, since some folks will just hang up. But it's  not as bad.

Yea, I think I've gotten all I can stomach from BSN. I'm going to try and avoid this specific subforum.

He's saying it's the highest selling ME3 DLC.

Love how nobody really got that on here.

No, hes is saying that its the largest selling DLC to date. Nothing about ME3's DLC's was mentioned.

Look, Chris had no reason to respond to this thread. Calling him out when he hasn't really said anything shocking is uncalled for and IMO a bit excessive.

Naturally, Leviathan would sell pretty well compared to previous DLC considering the addition of the PS3 base.

Chris has no reason to respond to anything outside of the signature

"LOCKDOWN

"

Today he's responded to 3 I've seen. Perhaps he was just in a talkative mood.

Just because he showewd up does not mean (at least to me) that people suddenly have to mince words and walk on eggshells because they'll hurt his feelings or something.

He's a grown man I'm sure he can take it or respond apropriately if he feels the need.

You believe his statement, and that's fine, its allowed. I don't for reasons already stated. I'm not going to stick my thumb in my mouth and stop myself from saying I believe his statements to be false. Especially considering he's not providing two sets of numbers.

Namely best selling DLC for ME2- 500,000

Best selling DLC for ME3- 500,030

That is all that would be needed to stop the thread from running rampant and to shut the nay-sayers, AKA people like me, up.

That really doesn't require "Getting into it"  He or somebody at Bioware goes into more number crunches weekly with their operations.

So yeah. I don't see a reason to treat him like a porcelain doll anymore than I treat other people on the internet like porcelain dolls.

This is a case of prevention over solution.

Solution. Good question.

Prevention. Don't start lying in the first place.

Agree.
Even if Chris said exactly how much Leviathan sell there would be people still saying it was a lie because "of course if they hate ME3 then everyone else hate it too"....<_<

I feel like you were trying to be clever, and then fell flat on your face.

It's time to get over it, very few people actually held their wallets and the majority was pleased. The DLC was a sucess, Bioware has just said so. Unless you can find contradictory evidence that it has sold poorly you are in denial.

Seriously now it is one thing to be cautious, it is another to be as paranoid as your being here.

The amount of what if's and maybe this, maybe that is getting a little silly.

DA2 didn't stop adding additional content due to lack of DLC sales.

Which is why they said at Pax east.

"We really wanted to do more DLC, even had a whole expansion pack in the works. But the fans jumped ship on DLC content"

Just because you do not believe it does not make it a lie. I have not seen anywhere near enough people to even come close to the amount you would require for your statement to be true. Not on here and not elsewhere online or away from the internet.

5 people saying it's a lie = Majority did not buy it?
